Xyron, Maya Road BLOG HOP!

Welcome to the Xyron & Maya Road blog fest this week,
check out the cool prizes they are giving away and my project today! :)

These are my very vintage mixed media cards I created using MR and Xyron.
I am going to give a quick rundown of how I created these.
If you make cards and DO NOT have a Xyron 9" Creative Station
trust me YOU NEED ONE! Like now...it makes card making so easy I love it.
Trim patterned paper to 4.5X6" Trim cork paper to 4X5.5" and use
Xyron 9" Creative Station to layer papers.
In fact I fold my card base and run it right through my Xyron 9" Creative Station
so the cover on the cards sticks evenly and perfectly every single time.
Using Maya Road Canvas Coaster Album stamp sentiment onto
canvas itself. Using Xyron Adhesive Dots adhere canvas coaster
to front of card.
Love Clip to front of card.
See?? Xyron really does make adhesive for EVERY project and every medium.
Be sure to head to the Xyron blog and check out the prizes and
enter to WIN BIG!

**Prizes** Christmas Ornament Tutorial W/ Xyron & Maya Road

Good morning friends, welcome to the
Xyron & Maya Road Blog SWAP.
PLENTY of prizes to be had so be sure to hop along!
I have these handmade ornaments to share today using some
of my favorite products. They would make a wonderful gift- especially
for those of us on a tight budget.

Using CutCardStock and Spellbinders dies- cut and emboss 2 of each die for
every ONE ornament. (Want to make sure they are double sided!).
Run embossed die cut through  Xyron 3" Sticker Maker.
Press 2 of the dies together creating a double sided die cut.
Using Maya Road Chipboard Snowflakes- run them through the
Xyron 1.5" Create-A-Sticker rub well and peel.
Coat adhesive side with Fairydust Glitter.
Shake off excess.
Use Xyron 3/16 High Tack Adhesive Dots to adhere snowflakes to ornament.
Make sure to place snowflake on both sides! :)
Using embossing pad and gold embossing powder-
heat emboss sides of each ornament.
Allt he way around edges.
I also embossed the Maya Road Cord just to add some coordination.
And now I have beautiful and very detailed ornaments.
I hope you visit all the blogs and the Xyron blog for
more info on the prizes!
Have a great Tuesday friends!!!

~More Reveals, More SVG's, and More Chickens! hehehe~

Morning all my lovely friends,
yesterday was so busy. The boys were all home
and they managed to dig out halfway around the house,
can I just say it is SO nice to have boys to help out with the outside work!

This is another layout I made for the April Kit with SFTIO
And I loved every second of it! LOL You know why right?
Because of the sewing section in this kit!I inked the chipboard scissors and glittered the edges using the Helmar V2 Spray Adhesive
then I wanted to actually use thread on the spool, so I inked the ends
and sprayed a little V2 on the spool and wrapped real thread all around it.
I don't know if you can see or not

I think this Cosmo Cricket Alphabet is now my FAVORITE alphabet
I will buy these over Thickers even, I loved them so much.
I wish I had known the faux stitching technique then LOL I would have used it
instead of stitching...but I did stitch underneath the page, it's peeking out somewhere.

And a quick update on the chicken coop...
The roof is officially ON!!!!!
That's my men working on the roof, now we just need to build
the nests and perches, doors and heck...so much more LOL
But I had to share my chicken journey with y'all!

Don't forget the RAK (Giveaway) from yesterday!
RIGHT HERE!

And a few more SVG's I worked on yesterday,
the brand and berry branch are one piece so very convenient!
Just click the picture for the file download.

Now off to get the oldest boy glasses today,
finish the coop, a baseball practice and grocery shopping!
Should be another busy family day~

~Thank YOU for stopping by and saying hi~
I so appreciate every one of you!
~Have a great Saturday~
~Pinky~
