Fall Mixed Media Acrylic Tag

Hey there friends, well this TAG project taught me a lot! LOL
I tried using this copper paste on  it, but it kept flaking off, I was using the Clear Scraps
Fall Leaves Stencil/Mascil which I love.
But I had to find a way to keep the paste from flaking, so finally
I "frosted" the tag by using a file to scratch the surface. After I did that the
paste stayed on but I was sure to seal it with a clear acrylic spray.

glittered and added them for more texture.
Both the Mascil/Stencil were in the September Creating Made Easy Kit Club Kit
plus a whole bunch of amazing other items!

This is a mini banner I created using the Creating Made Easy  June Kit.

There is even a full tutorial for it on the Creating Made Easy Blog!
I used Gesso and loved it!

Plus my favorite Krylon paints that I always love,

I cant wait to see the boys faces on the 4th this year! :)
Happy Thursday friends!

PARTY Banner Fun

Hello friends, with spring coming soon (I HOPE!)
I decided it was a good time to get a jump on my banners for the year
and I went ahead and used the kit from Creating Made Easy to
create this one!
The patterned paper I used Spellbinders dies to cut, after I painted
each banner piece with Krylon.
Then I added the prima flowers and the lettering.

All in all I am happy, it's fun and good for a party. :)
Happy Tuesday friends.

New Year- Live With Gratitude (Tutorial)

Happy New Year my friends,
it's time to begin anew with a fresh start and why not start with art therapy?

This mini album I created was made using the brand new
Creating Made Easy January Kit! WOOT! Love this kit.
It has so much goodness and was so beautiful to work with.
I started by spry painting the pages in alternation coral and gold paint
(Krylon of course).
And I took the paper flowers from the kit, and spray painted them too!
How cool is this soft look of spray paint on them? They almost look real.
I layered the flowers with a button, then added the title cards from the
Teresa Collins paper included in the kit.
On each page I added a 4X6 matte using the patterned paper, I love
the patterns in this paper.
Each page I added 2 flowers and a button then some of the stickers included.
I bound it together with some beautiful Ribbons Unlimited Ribbon I had to make it pop.
Everything except the buttons, ribbon, and paint were from this fabby kit!

Pretty much everything except the spray paint (Krylon Coral and Black)
is from the August kit- it's amazing.

Good morning crafty friends,

This is the new August 2013 Creating Made Easy kit and YES it includes
REAL sand from Mudd Puddles! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!
I couldn't wait when I saw this Clear Scraps Castle Album.
Since we went to Gulf Shores this year and my friends are moving
way to Ohio I thought it would be perfect as a gift! :)
I just love the Bo Bunny papers and embellishments too. Perfection!

All these fun photos just FILLED the album to the last page.
Here is the FULL kit- beyond a value!
Plus an EXCLUSIVE design ONLY found in the kit-
not on the Clear Scraps website- it was just made for this kit.
Can;t wait to show you those projects! :)
And these Mudd Puddles....what do you think? Pretty
fantastic right? It is flexible when it dries- I love it! :)

~Butterflies & Crafting~

Good morning my friends,
I had to share a couple photos of my very gentle giant of a son
Justice, who found a "butterfly" I suspect it might be a moth.
With a broken wing, he was screaming for me to get my camera.
It was simply adorable.
He was just enamored and so gentle, it was sweet.
I was thankful for my new camera.
Fun stuff!
Anyways on to crafts... :)

I made this tri-fold frame using my Bind-It-All and the beautiful
"Noted" kit from the Scraptastic Club, you can find a tutorial for it on the
I just used Chipboard and my Bind-It-All to create the pages.
Fun little project! :)

I had so much fun making it and this is the kit I used.

It was a fun kit! You can find the kit here.

That's all for me today, I had such a busy day, I need a nap! LOL

~Hello Sunday, hello sunshine....~

Good morning friends :)

It's Sunday and I am knee deep this week in sewing.
But I took a break to make this layout. This is a 100% Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive LO!~
I hope you can see it, I dug out my tattered angels glimmer mist spray
and used it to coat the chipboard, it's so shimmery and pretty.
Helmar partnered with Scrap-tastic again this month
and this is a LO I created with come of the products she sent over.
Most of the papers are Pink Paislee.
I had considered making it into a door hanger, but
at the last minute I went with the layout instead.

This is why I have been quiet this week,
for those of you who don't know I keep
a full time sewing business running through the year
Spring/summer is my busy time
I have been making sundresses like this one....
AND swimwear like this one.
I love this polka dot swim dress top.
If you know anyone XL-1/2X who might want it, let me know.

It's funny, I wasn't always a scrapbooker,
but I always have been a seamstress.
They go hand in hand, but sometimes time
is not on my side with the sewing AND scrapping! LOL

Hubby is working today and getting us some OT! WOOHOO!
That's going to pay for my trip to CHA!

OH and for anyone interested I will be posting pictures during
CHA this year!!!!!! A fun new edition to the blog.

~Have a beautiful Sunday~
~Thanks for popping by~

Good morning all you amazing crafty people!
Shouting out from a frigid 10 degrees in TN with a 0 windchill,
now I knwo that ain't nothing for you Northern girls but for this
pink lady its-a-little-bit-COLD! :)

I told you last week I got my new Imaginisce box and
I have been DYING to play with it ever since!
This is the NEW Lucy Bird line, it is SO darn cute and fun!
Something else I tried and fell in love with?
The new SMOOCH Spritz from Clearsnaps!
OMG I LOVE IT! I used it all over the edges of this page,
and on the chipboard journaling tag.
The journaling tag I put on top of the spritzed one
is a cute rub-on from the Lucy Birdcollection!
I really tried to photograph this in the light to capture how
shimmery and pretty this page is.
I will have to try throughout the day to see which times work best
but for now I hope you can see what I did.

You can see I used a pretty girly line for this BOY picture and it's
because it doesn't matter what the paper looks like, you can make
it work for YOU!
The back of these Imaginisce papers are always different and
with a little shimmer, or creativity, they work for any project!

OK off to try to stay warm! I am freezing over here!
I have to run a special project to Fed Ex today...
you will be hearing and SEEING more of that later this week!
It's a super fun Purple Cows surprise! :)
So stay tuned...literally...
~Have a great Monday~
~Thanks for stopping by~
