Pet Love Photography

Morning friends, I wanted to share this project today

because my son who is now 13 is really showing his eye for

photography and he loves to snap pets. He is 100% an animal lover

and I know he sees things I do not.

He took these pictures at my friends house while we were

visiting one day. I sent them to my email and had them printed. 

After looking at the I decided to make a project with them as well. 

The first thing I reached for was a Clear Scraps Clipboard. 

Not everyone has scrapbooks, so these make incredible gifts for 

the person who loves art but doesn't have a scrapbook. 

I left it clear because I like the effect and I used the 12" Arrow Heart Mascil from

Clear Scaps on the back with some teal Krylon spray paint to create the hearts 

 I used some Jillibean Soup papers and stickers I got on clearance for the rest. 

Such a fun heartfelt project to create with my son. 

He sees that I respect his work and I can share with our friend.

~Chocolate...Better Than Sex?? Humor In Crafting~

Good morning, Ok Ok I know I SHOULD be crafting

Christmas cards right? But I'm NOT. haha

I needed to escape these boys of mine for a few minutes last night

so I snuck into my craft room after spending the day baking and 

used my new Viva Las VegaStamps to create this fun card. 

 I am always needing a fun girlfriend card, so why not right?

I love how sassy it is...and I know the perfect recipient as well. 

I figure it's a good break from painting the living-room and 

running around. :)

~25 Day Until Christmas Cookie Sheet Project!~

Good morning and happy Sunday my friends, 

All week this last week Viva Las VegaStamps has used their

December Daily Plate 1430 to host a giveaway (each day) and 

inspiration project each day, this one is mine! :) 

I used RED ink and the December Daily Plate to create this

countdown to Christmas Magnetic Cookie Sheet. 

Funny story, I actually bought one of these kits about 4 years ago

well...maybe 3, I don't know. But I bought it at Treasured Scrapbooking.

I was not a fan of the actual kit but I wanted the magnets and cookie

sheet so I could create my own. 

The shop has long since shut down and the cookie sheet and magnets sat 

in my room for years, until they asked me to do a December Daily project!

I knew everyone would make these amazing vintage artsy creations

so I decided to make a more bright crazy style with a pop feel to it

just for fun! I painted the cookie sheet with "Almond" paint. 

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out what felt like 100 circles! LOL

It was actually only like 36 (I needed extra just in case).

I used Jillibean Soup papers, Then I hand embellished each one

by stamping the numbers in RED, then hand cutting them out and 

popping them up on the circle and adding Pink Paislee

dite cut embellishments. It took 1 pack of Pink Paislee die cuts, and

2 sheets of Jillibean Soup paper for the entire project. 

And about 6 hours to make because I kept leaving and coming back to it. 

After I finished each circle I added a magnet to the back. 

(That tore my  nails to bits! Peeling off the sticker paper on those)

And I added some tulle and the title on the bottom using

the same alphabet stickers from the Jillibean soup papers. 

It was a fun project to create and I gave it to a friend. :)

~Spring With Wings~

Good morning my friends,

Happy April right?? LOL I am excited about spring but it is nearly

90 here and feels like mid summer already!

I sat down this weekend and created with Clear Scraps and the fun

Scraptastic Club April Kit, and it was so much fun!

The kit is called "I Feel Pretty" so cute!

I decided to make a window hanging, and I really love the colors.

I just went crazy and decided to enjoy the colors and not worry

about specific placement or themes.

I love making those kind of projects~♡♡♡♡

Fun weekend, fun kits, fun acrylic...I love it~

Good morning my crafty friends!

I am so excited and feeling very creative this week.

I made this layout for the Tally Scrapper Survivor Challenge,

using the March Kit from Tally Scrapper.

I added the Banner and card stock but the rest is the Tally Kit.

The journaling says:
I wish I had known I am Really STRONG and a little crazy when my ex husband

was beating me up. I wonder how my life would have been different if

I knew then what I know now? Hindsight really is 20/20.

Of course I used my Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro and the 3D Combo Pack.

I am pretty much addicted to that stuff!

Did I mention the kit name? "Lucy you got alot of scrappin' to do!" hehe

Makes me smile every time I type it out or say it outloud!

I really love how the challenges on Tally can be as serious or as light as

you want and I am always challenged to create.

My best layouts come from the Survivor challenges! ♡♡♡♡
