~Chugging Into Sunday! New Acrylic Work!~

Good morning!!!

I have another fun acrylic project to share today...
this is also a new sneak peek for CHA from Clear Scraps.
In fact I Fed Ex'd it in so you should be able to see it in person♥

It is a new TRAIN banner....I decided since my youngest is
such a HUGE train fanatic, to make it for him.
I used all Basic Grey papers and embellishments,
with my Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive for the vintage buttons.
Plus on the stars I used Smooch Spritz on the back,
then I sealed it with PYMII and it worked perfectly!
It sealed the Smooch and made it all shine through.
For the wheels I used my Fiskars Punch...I don't remember the name,
I think it might be Seal Of Approval??
My Cricut Imagine to cut the letters from Core'dinations card stock.
Here is a closeup of the sealed Smooch, I used green and blue.
And the half fans I just made myself adhering them with the ibond.
The edges are those Viva Decor Pens, I love those!
It was a FUN project and what the best thing was...Gage was
TICKLED when he saw it! He squealed and said "FOR ME??"
I told him...AFTER CHA HONEY! LOL

Ok I am off to be with the family today, and work
on my Cricut Circle Projects for the magazine.
I am YuDuing my ass off! LOL

~Crafters have such big hearts~

Good morning my amazing crafty friends,
before I share my craftiness today I wanted to take a minute
to ask for help from all the amazing charitable crafters out there.

I am so blessed to be a part of an amazing community of
crafters who all share a little piece of their heart daily in
every project they make.
Stephanie Hunt, owner of Bella BLVD...her family had a great tragedy
this week and her brother in law was suddenly taken in a terrible car accident.

This has to be devastating for the entire family.
The blog post is here.

If you can and are willing please read the post and send
in blank thank you cards for the family.
This is a small thing to some but the outreach will really
touch their lives, so please take a minute today and make
a card or 5 and mail them in.
Now on to some crafty fun.
I made this card for a Halloween Invitation
It is a little more artsy then my usual style
I used my Cricut to cut the layers, then I used glitter paint
and stickles to coat the entire project, then I covered it in
Glossy accents and crackle, then I coated it in Mod Podge
I just had fun with it and I am happy with the end result.
It feel so spooky in person to!
I am really learning to use my Cricut and make it my own style
I always thought the Cricut was nothing but cutesy stuff,
but I was wrong, you really can transform anything you make with it!

~Happy Saturday everyone!~
~Have a great day~
~Thanks for stopping by to day hey~

~Tuesday is here and Halloween is fast approaching, time to craft!~

Good morning!
I took yesterday off and just lounged around the house
all day...ok not really "lounging" but it was a quiet day.
After this weekend I needed a down time day.

Can you believe Halloween is already right around the corner?
I decided to make another Trick Or Treat Bag.
This was for a company, now that they are done with it
I can finally share it with you all.
I am currently working on another one!
This one I made my own mask with my Cricut, then I
laminated it with the Purple Cows Laminator,
to make it a permanentmask, then I used my
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and sprayed the bag.
I love the affect! It's even prettier in person.
I also used the i-rock tool to BLING it up! :)

Someone asked me to share the cakes I made this weekend
so here is a picture for that someone special *wink*
Lemon Bundt Cake and Chocolate Fudge Cake...all home made.
I sure did enjoy making them....I really love fall
and winter for the joy of baking!

Ok one more thing....my friend in California, her family
is up for the ABC's No Ordinary Family Contest.
Their son Kumaka Jensen is an amazing little boy.
Here is their Caringbridge website...

You know that charity and children are near and dear to my heart
I might not be rich but we make an effort to help when and where we can
so if you have a chance please go vote for the Jensen Family!
Right here...at ABC

I don't post for votes ever unless it is an amazing
cause and this is an amazing cause... :)

That's all for me today...It's been a crazy weekend and the
week is going to be wonderful!
~Happy Tuesday~

~Hello Cricut Crazy Monday + New Video for the i-rock!~

I was just going to post a video today.
I made a video yesterday of little tips for the i-rock
that I have picked up along the way.

But then last night my boys came into my craft
room and they discovered mommy's toy...LOL
the CRICUT! hahaha
It was so funny!!!!
So I thought first today I would share what they asked me
to make them and what happened.

This is the Hello Kitty card I made yesterday.
I did not share the information yesterday because
I was throwing a SURPRISE Hello kitty party for a gf.
It was great and the Hello Kitty cartridge was awesome for it!
Ok on to the boys...
So Justice comes in and he says "Momma when are you going
to make me something to go into my binder to make it special?"
I said "Right now, what do you want?"
"I want you to use your Cricut and make this Robot mom!"
hehehe, this is what he chose.
I know it is a basic Cricut cut but he was TICKLED!
I made it 8.5" so it covered the whole binder area.
They are only allowed white binders so this is so cool for him.
Not to be outdone my other son came in and said
"MOM what about me???" I said "Whatcha want hunny?"
"A BIG Beautiful BUTTERFLY Mom"
And that is what I made him LOL
I used my Core'dinations cardstock, my Helmar 450 quick dry,
and my Cricut Expression machine. The Give a Hoot cartridge
and the Robotz Cartridge for the Robot.
We had so much fun. What a great way to get the kids involved
in being creative, they were in awe of the machine!

Ok on to the video.
It's been a while since I made one and
I have 4 ready to go, I just need to finish them!
This one is for anyone who wants small quick tips for the
using the i-rock and the gems.

OKy doky that is it for me today!
I am off to craft, I have a special guest design spot
coming up!
~Happy Monday y'all~
~Thank you for stopping by, I do appreciate ya!~

~Hello Sunday my weekend friend & another winner here!~

Good afternoon!
How is your weekend going?
It is so stinkin hot today, and I am inside
sewing, crafting, and getting the kids ready for the
first full day of school.

My son Gage who is entering First Grade,
he is a rock star, he loves music.
He is very artistic in his head, he sings all the time
so when he asked me for a backpack tag while
we were int he luggage section, and
we could not find a guitarI immediately though of my new Rock Princess
cartridge and the guitar on it!
He was tickled PINK I think he thanked me
10 times today for it.
So nice to have crafting as a backup,
plus hubby sat there and kept saying
"I am so glad you craft" hehehe

It was a very sweet crafty day today.

Yesterday's True Blood girlyfriend day was FABU!
I am addicted! LOL
I totally have bed head because I
took over the little chair they had,
footrest and all, and lounged through 9 episodes!
It was so fun, she even made Vampire cupcakes!
OK I will quit my blabbering!

Here is the winner of the The

~Happy Monday y'all!~

Good morning!!

This morning I am working on cards
and layouts for upcoming classes.
I always struggle with these because I am so freestyle.
I fly by the seat of my pants LOL

I wanted to keep it simple but prettyWhat do you think?
I am thinking that Imaginisce and Cricut make a GREAT PAIR!
I was hoping this would be a great way
to teach the irock and simple enough to get done
with time for a layout.
For this card I used the Imaginisce To Love & Cherish Line
and the Cricut Home Decor Cartridge
for the word LOVE.
I am LOVING the Home Decor cartridge for sure.
And of course the almighty Helmar 450 Quick Dry LOL
Don't forget the Helmar Contest!!!!

Also some fun news...
I received a wonderful email this morning
from a company down under...
They are going to send me some GIVEAWAYS!
I will keep y'all posted :)

Things will be slow this week, as
I am packing up for CHA.
I am going to miss my babies for sure...

Just 6 more days until I head to Chicago!
I will be at CHA from Monday toThursday night.
Hope to see you there!

~Have a great Monday~

~Pure Magnetism Cards & More SVG files~

Good morning my amazingly crafty friends.
I hope to inspire you today to step out of your box and
send some love to someone who needs it today.

The entire story and more pictures and Pure Magnetism Cards can be found
on the Clearscraps Blog today right HERE

Clearscraps acrylic
was definitely one of the reason I came up with these.
So, I know what you are thinking....
"what is the crazy pink headed one talking about today???"

Well, let me explain to ya :)
I have a couple of good friends who are going through some rough patches
lately (like we all have at one time or another) and I got to thinking
I would send some cards out, but then I wondered what else could I do?
I wanted a card on steroids! LOL
Why not make a card that attaches ot hangs from the fridge??
So every time someone comes into the kitchen they remember that
you took the time to say "hey I love ya, I care"
So go check out the blog :)
I came up with these (This is just one version)
Acrylic cards that are not your traditional folding card,
but instead have magnets and would be double sided.
The front would be a version of a card or mixed layout
and the back would have a special message
whether it be hand written or printed on
Now this one I used my new Cri-Kit pens to write the "You Are Loved"
OMG how cool is it, not to have to find a rub-on or print
something up on my computer, just be able to type it out on my Cricut and
cut it out! LOVE these pens!
This one I had to share a sneak peek because guess what I used to attach the
Hambly to the front of the Pure Magnetism card??
Helmar V2 Babay! That's right, it dried invisible! Look at that!
I am so excited to be able to glue down Hambly with no visible glue.
Helmar V2 rocks my socks off LOL

Here are just a few more SVG's for you SVG hunters today!
Free as always and just click the image to download

Hello Kitty
Cloud, Moon, Flower pack

Don't forget I have some of these pens to give away shortly!
I am so excited for y'all to try them too.

I have a very busy day ahead with school and all that jazz,
and last night I burned all my fingers so it should be an interesting day LOL

~Have a great Thursday y'all!~

Guess what?? They are having a DT CALL!
I KNOW so many of my friends are amazing crafters!
CHECK IT OUT!!
I would LOVE to see some of YOU on the team!

So much to catch up on from the weekend being gone...
y'all are going to get sick of reading my catch-up blogs LOL

BUUUTTTT, since so many have asked about the chicken coop and chickens
I HAD to update everyone about our dirty dozen and the coop.
This is how far hubby and the boys got on the chicken coop.
This is the back view (because our neighbors have garbage behind it
and no one needs to see that LOL
This hole will be the hatch for me to collect eggs! WOOT! I am excited
just thinking about all those fresh organic eggs!
And here are the Dirty Dozen...
oh how they have grown, I am ready to put them out soon!
They are still adorable to me. But I am ready for a quieter house LOL
So someone come and help hubby get the roof on the coop.
He ran out of wood and we have to go back to the store tonight.

That's all for me today my friends...
I have more to share and a GREAT RAK I need to photograph!

~1 more sleep until I head out the door!~

Good morning my amazing friends...
I am so excited this morning....just one more day until I head out...

I made my FIRST big Cricut project yesterday! I am tickled pink
Now I was not totally happy with it, but once again
not every project is a home run.
It will be published shortly on the Purple Cows Blog.

This is a little sneaky peek!
I used the amazing Clearscraps Acrylic, I am having so much fun with it!Let me tell you I found a new love for Helmar V2 Vellum adhesive,
I don't use Vellum much but I do use acrylic and man....I use the GLITTER!
If you spritz the V2 on anything and glitter it WOOHOO it is glitter heaven!!!!!
LOVE IT so much! I never have used spray adhesive before and to me
it was so much cleaner then other adhesive for glittering.

Not sure I will be posting the next couple days,
y'all know I try to post every day, but man
with sick kids, Spring Break, and this trip I need to start packing!
I never did figure out what to pack for my trip LOL
I think lots of smiles and Dr Pepper :O

Just go to have some fun!
~Thanks for stopping by, I so enjoy chatting with you all!~

~Once Upon A Time Thursday~

Good morning my amazing friends!
I have been so blessed the last couple of years beginning with
the Fiskateers and the wonderful group that welcomed me in
on to today with so many people who have blessed my life,
from the daily notes, to the amazing friendships I have gained.
I am one lucky girl for sure...
and yesterday was no different, in fact it was EXTRA special
and I wanted to share with y'all right away!

Once upon a time there was a pink haired crafty chick who wished
upon a star for a Cricut, but never expected to have one for herself.
After some good deeds around Christmas, and some amazing people
who took the time to find out who this pink haired chick really was
and loved her despite her faults and quirkiness, one special friend at CHA
went to Cricut and explained the pink haired girl's story to them.
Cricut was so kind and sweet they decided to send the pink haired crafter
a special gift. For weeks this crafter stalked the country road she lived on looking for
a Fed Ex truck, then one day, one rainy dismal day she heard a knock on the door!
So she grabbed her camera (so her crafty friends would share her moment!)
and snapped a picture of the Fed Ex truck as it left, she went outside to find....
A beautiful BOX! with the words CRICUT on the side,
When she tore into the box, it was her surprise!
A Cricut Expression and 2 brand new cartridges to boot!
Then she cried...tears of joy.
It was a very good day in the pink haired crafters house!

I have to tell you, those of you who think those good deeds go unnoticed,
those of you who keep kindness in your heart and keep giving even
though you get hurt all the time and people push you hard.
KEEP THAT KINDNESS, and keep the faith because one day
something big will happen to you and you will be so blown away
by the amount of kindness that is out there.

Thanks to Vennita who arranged for this to happen,
for believing in me, and taking the time to know me personally
and know that I really am a kind person, always standing up for me.
Thanks Cricut for listening to V tell my story and sharing the love!

Thanks to my blog followers who share my life,
who see the good the bad and the ugly,
whom I know will be excited for me and share in my joy today!

Oh it is a sappy blog day I know...but it's a CRICUT!!!!!! hehehe
(Don't forget tomorrow's blog hop for Helmar!!)

~Thanks for stopping by~
~Thank you for sharing in my excitement today!~
~Have a beautiful day~
