~I-Top Blog Hop!! Fun gift ideas~

Good morning my HOPPY FRIENDS! :)

You know the Imaginisce i-top Blog Hop is running this week!!!!

I have a fun little gift projects today to share on this hop.
I love to make big wonderful elaborate gifts as much as the next person,
but let's face it...I have 3 kids, 10 chickens, a dog and a husband.
They inhibit my non-stop craftiness sometimes LOL
So I came up with this sweet and inexpensive gift for the acquaintance
or maybe a neighbor on your list.
Maybe even one of the hundred teachers
you have in your children's school.
A sweet handy ~COUTURE MAGNET SET~
That's right it's COUTURE ...Pinky Couture in fact!*wink* hehe
I used my awesome handy dandy i-top of course. And the magnet daddies,
(I love the hand made touch fabric gives these),
and the Garden Party embellishments for the holders.
These were fun, easy, and functional too~
You know you can win a brand new i-top prize plus a big prize
on Friday if you check in every day this week! :)
So go check out the next blog...

The next stop on this blog hop is...the amazing Melinda!

~New Year Scrapping Already!~

Good morning my crafty-licious friends♥

Are you scrapbooking your New Year yet?
I wasn't going to but I needed to get away from the kids and hubs yesterday
so I hid in my scrap room and made this page.

I had a wonderful surprise 3 days after Christmas on my front porch.
You know Jessica from the Scraptastic Club?
I just met her recently and she is so sweet and so kind...
even though I am not designing for her she decided to send me
one of my all time favorite kits! So I dug it out and scrapped using
the Holy Mittens Santa! Kit! Isn't it fun??! Oh I love it!
For New Years we spent the evening with a HUGE bonfire on our property and
the neighbors came over about 5 minutes into the bonfire. I was thinking
"Oh no already?!" then they said "Hey can we use your bonfire for our burn
pile too?" LOL I was like Heck yes!!!!!
They stayed a visited about 2 hours and my good friends
Adrienne and Aron came over, it really was a FUN NIGHT!
The kids LOVED it, full of manly bonding and marshmallow roasting.
I loved it, full of girl chats and White Russians *hehe*
It was one of the best New Years we have had in a long time.
Since I had so many pictures (Thanks Adrienne) and I wanted to group them
I decided to print them all in 2X2 size.
And don't you LOVE the embossed stickers in this kit?? I love them so much
the greys, blues, and wintery mix makes me smile.
I used my Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge to make the tiny frames.
You know what I tried on this page? The Glue Arts Raise N's I really
like how easy they were to use, I think I will be using them again.
I had not tried them before today and I really like them!

You know Glue Arts does not compensate me at all *just in case you wondered*
I just LOVE their glue so when I use it I try to let everyone know
what I used. I do get many emails asking me what products I use.

That's it for me today, I am TRYING to get my kids back
into a normal schedule. They don't go back to school until the 5th
so I will be pretty busy until then.

Now on Tuesday....I think Tuesday LOL *tomorrow*
I am going to be in another smaller BLOG HOP
for Imaginisce with AWESOME prizes, so come back!

~See y'all tomorrow!~
~Thanks for popping by~

~New Video Tutorial W/ New Tool *D-Stress*~

Good morning my friends!
Yesterday was a FANTASTIC DAY, I finally got my hands on the
newest tool from Imaginisce, the d-stress tool.
As soon as I heard about it, I knew I would love it.
**Coming soon to stores near you**

I am not even playing, it totally makes me so happy
so of course I made a video with the new tool and how it works.
Check it out ♥
*sorry it is dark, you know I usually wait but I had to get it done*
If you make mini albums or alter chipboard/acrylic in any way
you are going to love this tool for filing. I am throwing away my old files.

Ok I am off to plan for my New Years Eve Party and get the
boys to the Dr. today....
Happy Hump Day everyone!

~Country Girl~

Good morning my crafty friends!
I am BACK!!!!

I had to take a couple days off for Christmas and to heal,
my poor kids and hubby well all of us have been sick for a while now.
Thanks goodness we are all on the mend *smile*.

I did get time to sit down and scrap over Christmas.
I am determined that before 2011 ends I will have my 8.5X11 scrap book
filled if it kills me! So you might see some pages that size this year♥

This page is from the Samantha Walker Cowgirl Line....isn't is adorable?
I was so excited when she sent it to me, I knew right away I was
going to scrapbook my country lifestyle.
You know it is unusual to find a beautiful country style line
that is not all cutesy and child like, so this line is perfect for me.
It is very country and I can imagine many pages with my chickens LOL
The only thing I added was twine, vintage lace, Thickers, and a little bit of stickles.
I even used the cardstock stickers for my journaling.
Oh and of course my handy dandy Glue Arts Glue Glider pro LOL
I know I do not have the "country" look but really all I ever wanted
was to have a little farm with animals.
If we could have afforded it we would have 10-20 acres
with cows, chickens, honeybees, and a garden. Heck I'd even like to have
a Christmas Tree Farm if I could! But the 2 acres and chickens will have to do.
Now if I could just find the perfect PINK cowgirl hat LOL

Stay tuned for my January 1st post on Imaginisce with
HUGE prize packages!!!!!

Now back to keeping these boys entertained and preparing
for the New years Party we are hosting this weekend!
Happy Tuesday, thanks for stopping by♥♥

~Christmas Traditions Layout & BOGO Sale~

♥Good morning my amazingly crafty friends♥

I had a fun night last night, I FINALLY set up my Imagine...
well ok hubby did but still it is done! I even printed up a couple
tags to work with on my next LO!

He cleaned up and organized while I scrapped this page.
I needed a picture to scrap for the new Noel Mignon challenge contest,
so I dug through my old Christmas pictures. This is one of my favorite all time photos
of the boys with dad right before Christmas.
We had just moved to TN and it was a wonderful experience
you want to know the funny part? Neither one of us can remember where
this darn Christmas tree farm is LOL We have tried to find it
and we both come up blank.
Anyways I used the new Echo Park paper (or maybe it is old?) and some vintage
crocheted lace, with those AWESHUM snowflakes from Imaginisce, and my
handy dandy Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive.
If you wonder why I am always listing the items I used,
it is because I do get alot of emails about it, and if you want to make
a page for yourself then you have the ingredients on hand ♥
Plus if I love a product I am not going to lie to ya, I will tell you it rocks!
Journaling:
The best gift I have ever received for Christmas, was not anything that could be given in a box. It was a FAMILY, a real family.
My first Christmas with my husband, we stayed up all night in each other’s arms talking until we fell asleep at dawn on the couch, then woke up an hour later with our son opening gifts.
Every year it is the same story, we are so excited putting out the
special gifts and watching the lights on the tree.
We talk about family , friends and events of the year, our lives before
and our lives now, our children, our losses, our joys.
It all comes up on Christmas Eve.
I never had a real family and for me that is the best gift I could ever receive.
Spending those moments in anticipation of the children’s excitement the
next morning with someone I love knowing we are a true family.

One more thing...TODAY ONLY!
If you buy one kit you get one FREE just pay extra shipping! :)
Here is the LINK for the Mini Kit

That's it for me today, I am going to have cupcakes with friends
later on and try to dig up a sausage breakfast casserole recipe for dinner!
Happy Friday everyone!

~Thank YOU for popping by~
~Have a beautiful day~

~Quick Update & Features Before Tomorrow's BIG Blog Hop!~

Good morning!!!
How is your week flowing so far?

My week has been filled with decorating the house....
which is always a good thing.
In the Hobbs home we decorate from top to bottom,
it is our tradition to decorate the ceilings....
I know it's alot of work but hubby
LOVES it, I am not lying, he gets done and says "We need to find something
to decorate the ceilings all year because it looks so awesome"
I love that he is so appreciative of the decorating efforts ♥
The whole family gets in on the action....

We have a Country Christmas theme this year...in reds and creams

I have a couple quick updates *in case you missed anything...
Debby featured me and my family
traditions for the holidays on her blog today

Yesterday is was a HUGE GIVEAWAY on my blog and IMAGINISCE

And Sunday was the Samantha Walker feature

And tomorrow is a ♥BRAND NEW VIDEO TUTORIAL♥
Hand made garland/Christmas Card Holder

~Scrapping with vintage lace & acrylic~

Good morning!!!!
It's a beautiful and very cold day today. I love it,
I am so ready for snow....hopefully it will soon then I will
feel ready for Christmas.

This week we are slowly but surely decorating and I am
feeling the holiday spirit for sure ♥

I love mixing old and new scrap products like
acrylic and vintage lace...I think it adds such a lovely
touch and it reminds me of my grandmother and history.

I made this layout at Tally Scrappers for a contest to win chocolate LOL

For the base I used a 12X12 Clear Scraps acrylic page then I cut
out the Hambly Doily Overlay and placed it on the acrylic, then covered it in lace.
I also love adding Platinum Paint to my layouts when I
do vintage looking pages. I used the Folk Art Metallic Taupe
paint because it looks just like Platinum.
I also spritzed the journaling spots with Spun Sugar Smooch
for a more aged vintage look with shimmer.♥
I love the new Extreme Tac adhesive from Glue Arts for the acrylic too
it stays on, it does NOT yellow and crack like the glues I have used
and it sticks really hard which is what I need, I like my pages to last!
I wish I could have captured all the detail on this layout.
I used almost a whole box of flowers from Imaginisce, I love
how they layered and the tulle flowers in the box.
I also used the i-rock and the swirls template that is so hard to find.
♥Ohh La La♥

The double lace was from my friend Gloria,
I have such amazing supportive friends including my online buddies
I am so very blessed to have so many friends who are so wonderful.

Ok I am off to bake the day away, we have
a party coming up on Saturday so I need to get it done!
The list is...
Caramel Corn (3 batches!) ♥
Cookies
Fudge
Brownies
Jell-o shots

I better get busy!!!
Happy Thursday everyone
~Have a beautiful day~

~Time Well Spent ♥~

Good morning my crafty friends!
Does everyone have pie hangover today??
I know my family does..hehe

Instead of listening to hubby snore and watch him passed out
I decided to hit my scrap room this morning and scrap those
Thanksgiving baking photos I took yesterday.
I love it, it makes me want to scrap all my baking pictures♥
I also used my Glue Glider Pro from Glue Arts and
American Crafts Thickers..I think that was it too! :)
It was so fun watching the boys chow down yesterday and
Gage was a riot at the table. He ONLY eats mashed potatoes, nothing else.
He cracks me up! It was a beautiful day.
I skipped the Black Friday shopping, I REALLY wanted to go but
I REALLY did not want to wait in line in the 20 degree weather
at Joanns, honestly I doubt I could have stood for that long with my back
acting up so much. We did drive by old Navy last night but it
was packed out the door, so we drove home real quick LOL

Hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving.
~Thank YOU for stopping by~
