~Spanking Ourselves With Meat.....~

Warning, if you don't have a twisted sense of humor,
this probably isn't the post for you! haha

Good morning my crafty lovelies! :)

I have a fun little card to share today with one of my favorite stamp companies
Viva Las Vegastamps of course...I mean seriously...how much more fun can it get?
This was posted on yesterday's blog by ME!
You gotta go check it out :)
Yes, I am weird but you know sometimes life is so deadly serious
it's nice to just be a little crazy and weird and do something
completely off the wall...like I don't know....running around for
10 years with PINK HAIR! haha
Life's too short to be so serious, have a little fun today in the name of
Pinky and getting weird! :)
(oh and the Miracle Tape I used! haha love that sticky stuff).

You know my friends are all looking at this wondering if they are the LUCKY
recipient of this card....bwhahaha....spin the wheel now...who's going
to get the crazy card from Pinky!! haha

Happy Thursday!

~Baseball Mom & 2 Digital Layouts~

Good morning my friends,

Wow the weekend just flew by didn't it?
We spent our days on the ball field and fixing the chicken coop.
Our first game was a loss but we really are coaching this year
so the kids who usually sit on the bench have a chance to shine
and play, win or lose, so it's all good. It truly is all about the kids.
The second game we won and it was a fun game, the coach and
kids laughing. We are very lucky.

This is my oldest so watching the game.

Anyways, here are 2 digital layouts I have been working on.
This ones is sweet Bella at the ball field using the Samantha Walker
digital kits (of course).
And this one is also using the Samantha Walker digital kits
with our dog Daffodil and our Cockatiel Allie.
I LOVE my paper crafting but I also love digital work as well.
It's been fun exploring both worlds this year.
Delving back into digital work after 2 years.

I have a giveaway planned this week, just need to find time to
set it all up. I am off to scrap before the kiddies wake up for school.
Just 3 more weeks left then home sweet home! :)

Happy Monday my friends!!!

~Tattoo Weekend + Baseball Player In Training LO~

Good morning my friends,
What a weekend we had, we spent 80% of it in Tattoo shops.
But first I have this layout to share....

I don't have girls but I have the most amazing friends with
little girls, and it has become the light of my life for sure!
(of course my boys are amazing but I have light enough for 20 more LOL)
Anyways created this layout last week with some snapped iPhone photos
from the ball field last week, how funny if this kid????
I am peeing my pants watching her, she is such a sweet hoot~

So this weekend hubby set out to get a tattoo, we made an appointment
at Absolute Ink in Murfreesboro with Jay. He drew up the tattoo, we
showed for the appointment, then waited 1.5 hours, then Jay decided
he would not tattoo hubby because he didn't think hubs was "ready" and he
wasn't "feeling" him -so he said no and started playing with his phone.

Yea that was super cool and professional *ugh*, I knew tattoo
artist were known to be flaky but this was so heartbreaking after
saving our money for a year and having it all ready and making
our appointments....the guy acted like we weren't worth his time.
anyways...
since hubby has waited 36 years for this tattoo we decided to find
a more professional shop and head to Nashville.

I am so happy we did, Blackbird Tattoo & Gallery had the nicest people
who were completely professional and Ed drew up hubby's tattoo,
then we came back Sunday to get the actual tattoo done.
I went to teach my card class and met up with hubby later.
It was a great experience and Ed was just amazing.
This was the end result, a pink haired girl with her head severed
and a skull holding it up. It was a celebration of our 10 years together
but in hubby's twisted horror way LOL
The colors will be brighter as it heals, he did a great job,
I am so excited we found this shop.
So that was our tattoo adventure that lasted from Saturday until
Sunday night, I was happy to get home!!!

Hope today makes you smile like sweet Payton made me smile.
Happy Monday~

~Backyard Bunnies- Class Is Open...~

Good morning my friend,

Whew what a weekend so far~
We had a sweet Friday night with little Payton.
Payton was getting tired so hubs decided to put her in a laundry
basket with a bowl of goldfish, it was pretty much the cutest thing
I had ever seen, where he comes up with these ideas I have no clue LOL
I think he would cut off his right arm for this sweety pie~

Baseball is in full swing and we just found out our youngest
son needs glasses, so we crammed that in the weekend too.
This layout was one of my digital layouts using the
Samantha Walker digital lines. Just thought I would share
since I am hoping to feel spring soon.
I also wanted to give a heads up reminder about the class that begins Tuesday!
Hurry grab your seat now!! :)
My first class is one of my first loves...ACRYLIC mini albums.
Clear Scraps sponsored this class and it will be sharing alot of
my secret (not so secret) techniques and how to's.
This is gong to be fun, you can log in day or not.
For those of you who craft at midnight while the kids are asleep, or those who
wake up at 5am and craft, this is perfect.
Plus there is a forum to ask questions in, there will be at least 35 minutes
of step by step videos- plus downloadable PDF files WITH
photos in each file step by step. It is all VERY clear and I worked
very hard on it. Each individual segment took em at least 6 hours
to prepare, so it is well thought out for sure.
Plus I share tips along the way.
Here is the link to the classroom
I have more classes planned already! But I hope this first one
is a success. There is no way I could teach this class in person
with all the supplies for this price, so it's cool that you can use your own
stash and I can actually do heavy technique driven classes
at this price point. I am very excited and put my heart into it!

That's it for me today, I REALLY need to create and also
yes it's baseball again LOL Have a wonderful Sunday my friends~

~Moments Like This~

Good morning my friends,

It has been such a crazy couple of months, with the kids back to
school I almost feel back to normal!
I was able to sit down and make some CHA projects yesterday
plus this week I have been working on non-traditional digital layouts
as well. You know I love paper & glue but I also LOVE digi.
I was so grateful for my husband this last month, he really is my best friend
and my rock in life. I was reflecting on the last year and realized how he
has totally given me the strength and freedom to expect respect and
a love equal to mine in my life, and that's a huge gift for sure.
He stands by me through every single moment with my family.

It inspired me to create this layout because every moment with him
is a special moment and a gift for sure. I used the Samantha Walker
To match up the word tag I just used my toner in
Photoshop to match the colors to the paper.

I know not all my friends are digi scrappers, don't worry I will still post
MANY paper projects, I am versatile LOL
Ok back to creating CHA projects~

~Just One More Digi Layout + Giveaway!~

Good morning my friends!

I know I am not the pro digi scrapper but I am having fun playing.
This week I am going to try new software that my friend Jamie
uses and half the other girls on the SW DT and see if it helps :)

Here is one more layout...it was Gage at the ball field.
BUT he was not playing so I wanted it to be fun.
See how I added baseball stitching on the back circle?
Anyways it was just fun.

The class was awesome yesterday and I have a fun weekend overall.
Fall Baseball Season is OVER! Life resumes *YEA*
My teenage boy had his first phone calls from girls this weekend,
it was a milestone weekend. LOL
Hope your weekend was amazing too!

Since it is MONDAY I thought a giveaway would be awesome.
When I was cleaning my scrap room I found this printed word album
I thought it would make a great giveaway!
No requirements, just leave a comment and on Friday I will
post a WINNER! Spread the word please! :)
Happy Monday!

~Altered Art Class!! So excited!!~

Good morning my crafty friends!!!

I am so excited about this new class I am teaching.
It is an altered box class with snowy pinecones on top! :)
We will also be making a rose, but this is the piece de la resistance~
I just finished it last night...I used the Samantha Walker
Christmas In The Kitchen papers for the box,
and Bazzil for the pine cones.
I really need to make a video for these pine cones.
They are really detailed but so much fun!
If you are local you can come to my class on October 16th
in Mt. Juliet, TN at The Scrap Room. I would love to see you!
If you want to meet for lunch early just holler!!! :)
Ok off to spend the day with my family....we had a few
errands to run yesterday but the boys are still a little
off kilter. Hopefully this week on Fall Break will help.
Have a beautiful Sunday everyone~

~Thank You & BLOG HOP!!~

Good morning my friends, and I do mean friends,

Welcome to the monthly Samantha Walker Blog Hop!
You should be arriving from the amazing Karen
(I love her! Just as sweet in person!)

Before I begin I wanted to take just a second to thank everyone who
emailed, called, and stopped by yesterday. The outpouring of concern
was absolutely comforting and assuring that I will never be alone
and I should not feel a burden to anyone whether I am in a wheelchair or not.

I deeply am touched by the concern and messages, once again I am amazed
by the craft community and my friends, so thank you.

Ok on to fun crafty stuff....
Samantha Walker is giving away a bunch of stamp goodies this go round!
I am so very lucky because this month we are paired with the
UNITY stamp company, which means yes....I stamped!!!
*little party in my head* haha
I made this card using the BRAND NEW KOKESHI line
I LOVE IT!
The stamp is of course a BEAUTIFUL high quality UNITY stamp!
Samantha designed it with Unity, it is called Live, Laugh, Love
Just what I needed this week *wink*
Here I made a teeny tiny fan, folding it old school, and gluing it down
with my Glue Arts EXTREME glue, then I hand cut the little dolls out,
and glued them down.
I am going to send this to a friend who was sweet enough to call and check
on me yesterday. I think it will be perfect! :)

Ok on to the next blog
Just click on her name...

Ok I am off to play with my boys today...
they had a HUGE GAME last night and WON!!!!!!
My boys played with respect and dignity, they did not taunt or
chatter and tease like the other teams PARENTS did, they just
played their hearts out and WON!
It was a beautiful night, I went home and cried...sappy mom LOL
Have a beautiful day....enjoy your week. ♡♡♡♡♡

~I-Top Blog Hop!! Fun gift ideas~

Good morning my HOPPY FRIENDS! :)

You know the Imaginisce i-top Blog Hop is running this week!!!!

I have a fun little gift projects today to share on this hop.
I love to make big wonderful elaborate gifts as much as the next person,
but let's face it...I have 3 kids, 10 chickens, a dog and a husband.
They inhibit my non-stop craftiness sometimes LOL
So I came up with this sweet and inexpensive gift for the acquaintance
or maybe a neighbor on your list.
Maybe even one of the hundred teachers
you have in your children's school.
A sweet handy ~COUTURE MAGNET SET~
That's right it's COUTURE ...Pinky Couture in fact!*wink* hehe
I used my awesome handy dandy i-top of course. And the magnet daddies,
(I love the hand made touch fabric gives these),
and the Garden Party embellishments for the holders.
These were fun, easy, and functional too~
You know you can win a brand new i-top prize plus a big prize
on Friday if you check in every day this week! :)
So go check out the next blog...

The next stop on this blog hop is...the amazing Melinda!

~Happy Tuesday and thank for hopping by~

~Country Girl~

Good morning my crafty friends!
I am BACK!!!!

I had to take a couple days off for Christmas and to heal,
my poor kids and hubby well all of us have been sick for a while now.
Thanks goodness we are all on the mend *smile*.

I did get time to sit down and scrap over Christmas.
I am determined that before 2011 ends I will have my 8.5X11 scrap book
filled if it kills me! So you might see some pages that size this year♥

This page is from the Samantha Walker Cowgirl Line....isn't is adorable?
I was so excited when she sent it to me, I knew right away I was
going to scrapbook my country lifestyle.
You know it is unusual to find a beautiful country style line
that is not all cutesy and child like, so this line is perfect for me.
It is very country and I can imagine many pages with my chickens LOL
The only thing I added was twine, vintage lace, Thickers, and a little bit of stickles.
I even used the cardstock stickers for my journaling.
Oh and of course my handy dandy Glue Arts Glue Glider pro LOL
I know I do not have the "country" look but really all I ever wanted
was to have a little farm with animals.
If we could have afforded it we would have 10-20 acres
with cows, chickens, honeybees, and a garden. Heck I'd even like to have
a Christmas Tree Farm if I could! But the 2 acres and chickens will have to do.
Now if I could just find the perfect PINK cowgirl hat LOL

Stay tuned for my January 1st post on Imaginisce with
HUGE prize packages!!!!!

Now back to keeping these boys entertained and preparing
for the New years Party we are hosting this weekend!
Happy Tuesday, thanks for stopping by♥♥

Then I used an Imaginisce Rub-on on the acrylic from inside the frame and
use Ice Stickles on the edges. Then I used pop dots and popped up the frame.

Good morning my amazing friends, if you have arrived here this morning
you have arrived at the very first Samantha Walker Designs BLOG HOP!

I am #2 on the list....the first stop is the ever famous
Samantha Walker of course!

This is a fun blog hop with the new Creative Team.
I am so blessed to be a part of.

Today I made a special project and a full video tutorial.
My project is hand made garland but it's not just garland
it is also a Christmas Card Holder.
In my house we are having a "Country Christmas" theme this year
so I wanted many of the decorations to be handmade, you know
the usual but with a Pinky POP, so I came up with this idea.
Each tree has a clothespin on the back for handing your Christmas cards
It was so fun to make, I made it with the boys, they LOVED it!
Everything from the garland to the cards are from the Samantha Walker lines
she has everything from fabric to paper and they all seem to flow together
I hope you enjoy this project as much as I did making it.
Here is a full step by step video on how to make your own! :)
