Halloween Spook Cards!

It's funny what a little black spray paint does to acrylic!
Hey there friends, I have two cards today that I created.
I am in love with this kit.
I used a slight spritz of black spray paint to make it spooky.
And the glitter? well that was just for ME! :)

Graphics 45 And Petaloo Fun With Xyron!

Good morning friends and welcome to the Xyron, Graphic 45, Petaloo blog hop!

I have a fun project today and I hope you enjoy my tutorial.
I turned this Clear Scraps Chipboard banner into a fun Halloween Mini Album!
How beautiful are all of the G-45 & Petaloo goodness?

Let me share how I created this mini album.
First of all you know my most favorite Xyron thing is to run the chipboard
through the Creative Station! I mean EASY is my objective.
Run the chipboard banner pieces through the Xyron® 5" Creative Station™.
Lay sticky side onto Graphics 45 paper.
Trim off excess paper.
File edges.
Flip banner pieces over and repeat!
When all the pieces are together the fun can begin!
Choose your Petaloo Fancy Trims to apply to the cover.
Use youXyron® Mega Runner   to apply on cover, then adhere trims.

For the little punch outs- take the NEW Xyron 3" Sticker Maker
run them through the sticker maker (super duper easy!).

Adhere them to the cover as shown.
For the items I popped up on the cover- I used the NEW Xyron 3" Sticker Maker
and a sheet of foam to create my own pop dots!
With those I applied the flowers and the other die cuts.
Use the Xyron® Mega Runner to apply the other die cuts and flowers into
the album.
Below I am sharing the other pages so you can follow along with the pictures!
 Such a fun paper line!

I hope you enjoyed my project and I cannot wait to see
your version!! Thanks for stopping by and saying hello.
I would love to hear from you.

Have a happy Monday friends.

~Tuesday is for crafting!!~

Good morning all you crafters out there.
I swear Tuesday used to be for crafting, then Fall Break
fell on my house! LOL

I do however have some goodness to share with you...
*secret goodness* Stay tuned on the 10th...
I have a special giveaway...an entire KIT and it rocks!
Also note, Mod Podge is sponsoring a giveaway this month!
What a fantastic month!

Mean time I have another SFTIO reveal from the
Purpose October Kit....
6X12 layouts make me so happy... :)
I loved this picture I took from the back of the train this summer
in TN/NC, when I found out the kit was Purpose I knew I had
to use this picture! Sometimes life takes a winding
path but it's always full steam ahead, never looking back with regret.
Every person I meet and every thing that happens to me
is a lesson in life. I try to learn and move in...
I love how Steampunk from Graphic 45 inspires me to scrap.
I already used a pack, I am going to buy another one! LOL

Ok I am off with my boys this Fall Break,
please send me crafty wishes LOL I need to
create today, so I am hoping for quiet time at some point.

For those of you who were so kind with well wishes, the boys
are all well now, I even baked them some cinnamon rolls for dinner.

~Have a great Tuesday~
~Thanks for being a part of my life~

~HELMAR Blog Hop and GIVEAWAY!

Good morning my beautiful fellow crafters!

Welcome to the HELMAR BLOG HOP!
You know I am always bragging up Helmar Glue
but let me tell you why....
You know I don't talk about the products that don't work for me
but the Helmar 450 Quick dry Adhesive is by far my favorite from day 1!
They did not even know who I was when I began using it,
I had nothing to do with Helmar but I loved their glue so much
I went crazy!
On this project you can see I used
Paper, wood, paint,metal, and acrylic...
you know why I love 450? Because I could use it all over this project
not changing glues or worrying about stopping!
I used the 450 to glue the paper on, 450 to glue the metal on,
and 450 to glue the acrylic onto the back, and for the butterfly onto the
acrylic so it would appear to be floating!
SOOO...do you want to win a bottle of 450 Quick Dry??This bottle?? Well leave me a comment, if you have used Helmar tell me
why you love it! If you have not and have a question feel free to ask!
Don't forget there are giveaways all along this blog hop
and a HUGE giveaway at the last stop (which is next)
your next stop is the last stop HELMAR

Hope you felt inspired, hope you had fun with me today!
~Thanks for popping by I love y'all for being my friend~
~Have a beautiful day~

~Super Croppin' Saturday!~

Good morning lovelies!
You know what I am doing this morning?
That's right getting ready to Cyber Crop at SFTIO!

I did get time to sit down and scrap last night during the Olympics
Ceremony, while I was preparing challenges and such for the crop.

This is a Graphic 45 Layout that
is a 2 pager. When I am done I will have 4
matching pages of all the boys
I was so happy to see my local scrapbook shop carried new Prima!
It is my weakness, I try to resist but I always end up sneaking 3 or 4.00
out and buying one goody for the next 2 weeks, then I hoard it
in my scrap room, so I finally broke down and used it!
Also I broke out the sewing machine again, I have been
sewing on 90% of my layouts lately....
Seems to add those tiny details that maybe no one else will
notice but I will look back and see the stitching.

I have some FUN NEW news!
Guess who is now carrying Purple Cows??
Not only Joann's but ARCHIVERS! I just heard it through the grapevine!
I am so excited, now I don't have one right here, but I think up
in KY there is one, I will have to check on it :)

Also a toot for my fellow DT member Michelle
She was filmed at CHA by Creativity Knocks
Here is her video if you want to take a sneak peek!
Creativity Knocks

I am off to host a crop and have company today!
My son is so excited it is his FIRST time having a friend over.
Woohoo the joys of being a mom, I will be baking
cookies and making corndogs hehehe Every kids dream!

~Have a beautiful Saturday~

~The weekend is almost here!~

Good morning! I am headed off for a fun day with my boys
at school for Valentine's parties!
I sat down and cut 40 cards last night and
found all my punches to take into school for some crafty fun.

How is your Friday looking? Ready for the weekend? I know I am!
I made this Layout last night with Graphic 45 paper.
I broke out the sewing machine and it must be time to change the needle
because it nearly tore the paper clean through.

This is the ONLY picture I have of "great" Grandpa holding
Justice before he passed a few years ago, he was so
happy to meet my son, the picture brings me to tears I think
I could scrap it 100 times over.
I love using the scallop stitch and generally I place a piece of fabric
behind the paper to ensure a more even stitch with the
fancier stitches, but I forgot last night, I thought the paper
was goign to be thick enough with 2 sheets, I was totally wrong.
So a tip for anyone wanting to use fancy stitching, a piece of backing
or scrap fabric goes a long ways when sewing on a layout.

Wish me luck today, I still have a cold but I feel tons better!
Hopefully next week I will be back into full PINK again!

~Thank you for stopping by, I am trying to be better about
responding to comments, many I respond to on Facebook~
~Have a beautiful friday!~
For those of you snowed in, I hope it melts soon :)
