Love Notes...Sweet Love Notes

Hey there friends,
Tomorrow there will be a BIG giveaway Blog Hop
happening so be sure to stop in, and in the mean time....

Yesterday threw me right for a loop and I got way behind.
Our sweet Allie (pet Cockatiel) flew right past me when I opened the
door into 30 degree temps and we spent the better part of 3/4
hours hunting for her. So today I thought I would share 4 of my latest
cards that I have created.
I actually created these for a class I taught at My Creative Classroom.
Bt they are perfect for Valentine's Day! :)

Happy Tuesday friends and don't forget tomorrow is a BIG GIVEAWAY!

Vintage Grunge Stamping Tutorial- Wings Of Love

Hey there friends,
I had fun this weekend being crafty with some grungy
vintage style goodness from Sin City Stamps.
I created this card using my CutCardStock pre made cards
some leftover flowers I had from a magazine project (using
Samantha Walker cut files) and of course some gold spray paint.

I stamped the wings onto CutCardStock with a vintage teal
ink, then coated it in gold embossing powder.
I heat embossed the wings and cut them out.
Then followed the same instructions for the sentiment
except on dark red card stock.

For the front of the card I stamped the crackle stamp directly onto the pre made
card and then spritzed the entire card using Mister Huey's mist.
Then I took the card outside and lightly painted the edges with a
good old can of gold krylon paint.
After that I used my Xyron Adhesive Dots to add the embellishments
I had created, and the sentiment.
Then some hot glue of the Connie Crystal- crystals I took
from a sun catchers.
I love the soft golden feel.
That's it for me today- back to my craft room!
Happy on day friends.

Hello Valentine's Day~

Hell hump day and hello Valentine's Day season.
Nothing but some paper fun here with my Creating Made Easy kit and
You know the big trick to acrylic is making sure the adhesive doesn't show
and the Xyron Tape is perfect for hiding behind stickers and making sure it all sticks!
For this wall hanger I simply stole the back page from the mini album
included in the kit and I had a little V-Day fun! :)
The double heart was cut using the Samantha Walker files
from the Silhouette store- and I used some really old Thickers I had.
Easy Peasy Beautiful....fun! :)
Just fun to make! :)

Announcement AND Stripey Card!

Hey there Peeps! I have 2 FABBY things to share today!

#1 Check out the Xyron post here:
Super excited to be staying on with Xyron-

and #2 this FUN acrylic Send It Clear card I created for the
Creating Made Easy Kit Club using the new kit AND
You have to love the Teresa Collins papers in this kit and I peeled
the protective film off of the heart and used tape and glitter to create the stripes.
Such a fun project to create and after getting my exact knife
out it was a cinch. Now before when I tried with scissors?
Seriously FML- what a nightmare LOL
I also traced the heart onto the back of this patterned paper and cut about 1/4"
bigger with scissors to create the heart inside.
Seriously you have GOT to try these Send It Clear Cards!
They are so amaze balls!
Check out the kit and definitely try them out.

Be Mine- Fun Feature

Hey there friend happy Monday,
I fell behind last week due to a very sick household, from plain old cold to
my son getting  aStaph infection in his eye on a school trip! WHEW!
Glad last week is over. :)

I am very excited to share this project today- a "Be Mine" album
that is the feature project of the month for Creating Made Easy which
means every single kit has a step by step instruction sheet for this
and of course plenty of photos to assist you!
This was fun because I used my Teresa Collins Adhesive kit along with
my Teresa Collins paper from the kit to create the album.
You can see that wet adhesive in the kit helped so much!
And I used my 9" Xyron Creative Station for the chip pages.
This is a brand new design from Clear Scraps and I love the album.
PLUS on the cover I used that fabulous

Thanks for stopping by- happy Monday! :) Muah~~

I've Got A Crush On You...Xyron

Good morning friends,
I am sad to say this is my last post for my DT term with Xyron and
what a wonderful term it was! :) For my last project I created a card
and a bookstand I turned into a home decor project.
Let me share how I created these projects!

Cut Crush On You card file using Silhouette Cameo or similar machine.
This card is 6X6.
Trim out Cardstock for the inside at 6X6.
Run card stock through Xyron 9" Creative Station.
Rub and peel.
Place cardstock- ADHESIVE SIDE UP in card so the sticky parts
show through to the front of the card.
Sprinkle with glitter and shake off excess.
Using Xyron High Tack Tape 1/2" place strip at bottom of the card
then apply a strip of vintage lace- press firmly.

Take acrylic LOVE Expression peel off protective film from the front.
Run LOVE through Xyron 9" Creative Station top side down.
Rub, peel and remove. Coat adhesive side with glitter.
Dust off excess.
Trim out paper to fit bookstand- run through Xyron 9" Creative Station.
Adhere to center of bookstand.
Apply Xyron High Tack Tape 1/2" at top and bottom or patterned paper.
Layer on Dazzle ribbon.
Cut apart LOVE Expression and use Xyron High Tack Tape 1/2" to adhere
it to the bookstand. Use Xyron Teresa Collins Adhesive Kit Pop Dots
to pop up half the letters.
Embellish using stickers and extra lace and Xyron High Tack Tape 1/2".
Now you have a great romantic home decor piece to use through Feb.
And a very glitter Valentine Card! All of them made so easy with Xyron!
