New Year- Live With Gratitude (Tutorial)

Happy New Year my friends,
it's time to begin anew with a fresh start and why not start with art therapy?

This mini album I created was made using the brand new
Creating Made Easy January Kit! WOOT! Love this kit.
It has so much goodness and was so beautiful to work with.
I started by spry painting the pages in alternation coral and gold paint
(Krylon of course).
And I took the paper flowers from the kit, and spray painted them too!
How cool is this soft look of spray paint on them? They almost look real.
I layered the flowers with a button, then added the title cards from the
Teresa Collins paper included in the kit.
On each page I added a 4X6 matte using the patterned paper, I love
the patterns in this paper.
Each page I added 2 flowers and a button then some of the stickers included.
I bound it together with some beautiful Ribbons Unlimited Ribbon I had to make it pop.
Everything except the buttons, ribbon, and paint were from this fabby kit!

YES! Teresa Collins-CardMaker Xyron Blog Hop~

Hey there friends, it's time for another Xyron Blog Hop!
This time it is Teresa Collins/Cardmaker/Xyron fun and I created
an altered box using the Teresa Collins Xyron Adhesive Kit.
I love the huge wings on the box. :)
1. Run chipboard wings through 9" Xyron Creative Station.
 2. Lay sticky side onto Teresa Collins Patterned paper.
3. Trim out with scissors and blade.
5. Empty box- spray paint in coral.
6. Adhere wings to top of box.
7.  Using Teresa Collins You Are My Happy Papers create spiral flowers.

9. Trim out journaling cards and letters to create "She has Wings" quote.
10. Use  Xyron Adhesive Dots to adhere card and letters.
11. Add gold glitter paper strip to front and sides.
This is the finished box and I can't wait to fill it and give it away.

Be sure to check out the Xyron Facebook and blog for the giveaway and
other awesome projects! :)

RECYCLE Spring Storage Idea With Xyron

Hey there friends and NON CRAFTERS today!
I am veering off my usual card and scrapbook posts
 today with a VERY EASY
storage idea for everyone doing that Spring cleaning!
And it literally took like 5 minutes out of my life.
Which is perfect for me, because I barely have 2 seconds some days.

I am a huge fan of recycling, as I was a Oregon native- so this
project is right up my alley. I saw people use TP rolls before
for cord storage but they were so ugly, and being crafty and pink..
umm NO can't let that happen. So I dug out scraps of Teresa Collins
paper and trimmed it to 4" (measure your rolls because each vary between 4 and 4 1/2")
I trimmed the paper to 7" long because I wanted to get a really good
adhesion- so it wouldn't roll back off- paper to paper.

Run paper through Xyron 5" Creative Station.
Make sure to use the permanent cartridge.
 Rub. Peel. Stick.
Roll toilet paper onto sticky side.
 That's it!
If you are feeling like you want some glam you can totally add
a ribbon or bow too. Plus the bows make it easy to hang on a hook.
Here it is with a perry bow on it :)
And by the way, darned if I could find white extension cords, I
looked in every box and even tried the store! So green it is LOL

Ok off to my son's Autism appointment today-
so much anxiety on these days! Have a great one friends
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to PIN THIS! :)

My second project features the Days & Months stamp set  and it has
special meaning because my son wanted to make a bookmark for his

Hello Valentine's Day~

Hell hump day and hello Valentine's Day season.
Nothing but some paper fun here with my Creating Made Easy kit and
You know the big trick to acrylic is making sure the adhesive doesn't show
and the Xyron Tape is perfect for hiding behind stickers and making sure it all sticks!
For this wall hanger I simply stole the back page from the mini album
included in the kit and I had a little V-Day fun! :)
The double heart was cut using the Samantha Walker files
from the Silhouette store- and I used some really old Thickers I had.
Easy Peasy Beautiful....fun! :)
Just fun to make! :)
