~Hello Kitty WINNER!! + Chipboard Or Metal?~

Good morning my crafty friends,

I know I am behind this week. I feel like I am forever catching up! LOL

Piccolo chipboard & the fun Enamel Powder that makes it look like metal!

**Prizes**Halloween- SW Creative Team Monthly Blog Hop!

Good morning my crafty friends,

It's that time of month again! Time for the Samantha Walker

Creative Team blog hop and this month's theme is HALLOWEEN!

I decided to create this festive Halloween Wall Hanging

using the Samantha Walker **NEW** Silhouette Cut File,

Samantha's Decadence fabric, and papers!

I stitched the fabric onto a piece of chipboard, then layered on the die cut. 

I used Copper Stickles to make the die cut pop. 

And layered it all onto a painted sheet of Clear Scraps acrylic. 

Now I am ready for Halloween...or at least my wall is! LOL

Now for the HOP INFO!

Lindy's going in for testing today and has survived Cancer

and Debi has been in Chemo- October is breast cancer awareness month

but all Cancer SUCKS!

So send the power of your love today, to anyone who is struggling.

I am definitely in the mood for fall in the chilly morning air today. 

I am pretty excited today because yesterday I was featured on the 

Jinger Adams Blog with her BRAND NEW paper!

Now this is a fun time!

Not only does she have super fun paper pads, but also these really beautiful 

ribbons...and...yes AND SHOES! :)

~Gentle & Free- PAPER LAYOUT!! *gasp*~

Good morning my crafty friends, 

My OH MY! It is a real live paper layout I see! LOL

I haven't made one in a while, but I sat down this weekend to create. 

I have these beautiful pictures of my sweet boy holding a moth

(shhh to him it's a beautiful butterfly!")

I have been dying to scrap them....so I did. 

I used the new October Hall Pass Kit and the Add-On from

the Scraptastic Kit Club (You know I love them!)

This is the kit....I also used the add-on because it had the rad Mister Huey Mist in it. 

I decided to use the little white die cut as a stencil and spritzed it for fun. 

I am very proud that I have been able to raise 3 boys who know

nothing of the pain I had my entire life. They all have grown up

so innocent and free from tragedy. 

I mean don't get me wrong they experience life like everyone else but

not the abuse and the mental/physical  scars.

When I see this photo I se how truly beautiful Justice is and

how blessed I am to be his mother. 

It's a good thing....

~World Card Making Day Fun!

Good morning my crafty friends,

all you card makers probably have heard it is World Card Making Day

today so in the spirit of card making I made this fun little card. 

Don't you love the patina on the frame?

 I created it myself using the Piccolo Vintage Copper Enamel Powder. 

The papers are all Momenta, and the metal dragonfly too. 

 And of course the stamp is Avocado Arts.

 OH and the ink is Colorbox ink. I love how it all came together,

the newest Momenta papers are amazing!!! :) 

And I definitely am thankful for all my blog friends

~Halloween Layout- TOO CUTE!~

Good morning my crafty friends, 

I have been so busy creating cards and stamping I thought

I would play with layouts this week!

So I sat down to create a layout and realized I have no printer ink! LOL

Well there ys go, time to digi right?

I LOVE this picture of my sweet stinker-

this was before he truly hated Halloween and when I could

force him into an adorable skunk costume that would  mar him the

rest of his life. In reality he screamed and bawled 

for like 2 hours in it LOL

Come to think of it maybe he never did like Halloween

he was just too little to fight my mad costuming skills off!

Oh I miss those days of forced mommy time-

if I could only jail him up now and smooch his face off. haha

For this layout I used the super fun Samantha Walker Halloween

As Halloween approaches I get more and more excited! :) 

Traditionally the Hobbs really go all out on Halloween, 

but the last 2 years my youngest has decided he hates Halloween

so I now live vicariously through crafting! LOL

Last week Xyron and Globecraft paired up for a fun cross promo

and this is the 3-D card I made for it.

~Thanksgiving Card- Acrylic & Stamping!!~

Good morning my friends and Happy Monday! :) 

It's fall break in my neck of the woods and the perfect time to 

sneak in some crafting since I don't have to run around with these

beautiful boys of mine! 

I snuck away this weekend and created this card using the 

new Gobble Till You Wobble stamp set~

I love that it's whimsical but also pretty for fall. 

And I tried something BRAND NEW for me! :) 

I used my Silhouette Cameo and the cut files to create the 

little bucks of wheat, then I stamped them with the coordinating stamps.

I have to admit I was a little intimidated but it came out beautifully.

Now for the acrylic stamping I had to use StazOn Gold Metallic Ink.

It worked perfectly of course.  

The card itself is the Clear Scraps Belgrave card- LOVE using the acrylic.

I used Viva Decor Pearl Pens to create the pearls. 

And Quick Quotes papers for the rest. 

Fun project- I love fall!!!
