~Time For A Change!~

Good morning!
Last night I was getting my boys ready for school and thought it was time
for a change! A blog banner change that is!! hehe

Can you believe every single child of mine is actually in school today?
No more sickies in my house!!!!!! *Yea*

So, I love the banner but am still debating on the photograph.

I used Clear Scraps as a base, October Afternoon as base paper, Martha Stewart
punch, Fiskars punch, my Purple Cows Freestyle Mouse to cut the acrylic,
Cosmo Cricket letters, American Crafts Thickers, Imaginisce i-bond and Roly Poly
Posies, Jenni Bowlin butterflies and banner, Bazzill buttons....
my i-rock gems and i-rock, kaiser craft paint...LOL
I think I brought my entire studio out.
I am really happy about the end result...now someone come over and
take pictures for me! LOL

Oh and on a side note...if you are in TN I will be teaching
a class very soon in Mt. Juliet, TN! :)
I will add more details next week, it will be late January♥

Ok I am off to enjoy the peace and quiet
~Happy Friday everyone~

~Mitten Weather Altered Fun~

♥Good morning and Happy New Year to all my friends in blog land!♥

Are you ready for the New Year's Eve celebrations tonight?
We have company coming and it will be a casual fun night.

I did sit down yesterday and scrapped a little.
I bought this unusual door hanger from Old Time Pottery
in December with the intention of scrapping it before Christmas
but obviously I got a little busy.

This was painted an ugly checkered green with crazy odd trees
all over the mitten. *I wish I had taken before pics!*
I decided I wanted to use it for the winter on my bedroom door.
I wanted it to be soft and pretty so I could use it all winter not just Christmas.
I used the Imaginisce Enchanted Line, the Roly Poly Posies, my ibond,
the letters are Basic Grey, and also I used the Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive.
I also coated the Mitten Weather in Stickles, then covered them
in the Glossy Accents from Ranger.
Overall I have to say I am pretty happy with it BUT I think I will keep
it in my scrap room instead LOL
Oh and on the sides I used that Smooch Ink...LOVE that stuff.

Ok I am off to go cook!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Come back tomorrow for HUGE PRIZES!
~Thanks for popping by~

~Cricut Imagine & Imaginisce Project~

Good morning my crafty friends♥

You know I have been playing with my Cricut Imagine these last
couple weeks, but all the work I have done with it was for DT work.
I have had some requests to do some blog projects with it, so
this week I am trying to focus on my Cricut Imagine work to share
some fun projects that I make with it.

This is the first one, it is a card I made.
The entire background is white paper that I printed and cut
on with the Imagine with the Best Friends cartridge.
The Imagine prints out your project then it cuts it out making your
own customized die cuts. Also you can layer the cut and pop everything
out just like those 3D stickers you buy in the store.

It's a very Cosmo Cricket inspired cartridge and really fun!
I used the new Garden Party die cuts, mesh brad , my irock for the gems and
one of the Imaginisce Roly Poly Posies flower and the new
ibond tool...man that ibond makes those flowers come together quick.
And you know on the twine I used the Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive,
I was worried it would not hold on twine but guess what? It does! YEA!
Every project from 6 months ago has fallen apart so I am extremely thankful
I found Glue Arts!! The entire card was made with the
Extreme Glue and Glue Glider Pro too.
I think I used every tool I have on this card LOL The background piece
is actually a layered piece that had a title, but with the Imagine you can
break up the entire cut into layers OR print it up into one piece.
I chose to only print and first 3 layers and leave the words out.

I am going to tell you I was not sure how I would like it, but I love
how much more artsy the Imagine feels!!! It is more down my alley
and it's so fun to play with. So far I really like it but I only have 2 cartridges,
so we will see as they progress and as I collect more. But I love it!

I am going to TRY to do a video but I am sick right now
and my voice is awful plus I am coughing, so it will have to wait
a couple days, maybe through Christmas :)

Ok I am off to make breakfast, we have a big night of shopping ahead for
Christmas Eve snack night and baking to do for Santa and the boys.

How is your holiday going? Are you ready and done shopping?
Tomorrow I will post some pictures of my tree and the house.
I am done shopping but have a few things to wrap and just the food
left to shop for, so not too bad. I am excited!

~Thanks for stopping by~
