~The Story Layout & Strawberry Picking~

Good morning my friends,
IF ever there was a day I regretted not remembering my camera
yesterday was that day!! I could have kicked myself!

I drove the boys to the farm in Wartrace, TN (right by Bell Buckle)
and sent them to the field to pick strawberries.
I was very careful to instruct them on not fighting and all that
because it was the first time they were going alone, I could
not make it to the field myself and no wheelchair path.

God bless them, they made it all the way and did not fight once!
Plus my youngest even HELPED! haha A miracle in the strawberry
field for sure! I was so proud, they even grabbed some blueberries.
We made jam last night, and I baked all day.
We made 2 batches of muffins, 4 batches of jam, home made bread
chili, sweet cornbread muffins, and more.

I wanted to share one of my last digital layouts with you for that
digtal scrap booking race. Can you believe I made it all the way through?
Digital scrap booking has always been fun but not my
main form of playing, so this was a wonderful challenge.

This page had to be all about me, so I did a page on how people
see me and what they expect me to be able to handle.
My close friends know I have a tender heart though.♡♡
I used a kit from Ginger Scraps on this page. Summer Lovin'.
I really enjoyed the race, I might enter another contest if I find one.

Oh and here is a picture of the strawberries after I got home.
I really am proud of these boys of mine. They are all growing
up so fast and it's clear they will be fine young men.
Well that's it for me today, short and quick.
I am working on several projects right now, and trying to adjust to the boys
being home all the time!!! AHHHH LOL

I have a big announcement coming soon, plus I was at Sam's Club
last week and saw some of my publication work on packaging, so
that was pretty fun. I never know where I will see my projects. LOL

See y'all tomorrow!

~Sports Card & Layout Using Song By A Friend~

 Good morning my crafty friends,

Couple of projects today....first of all this card I made
using the Trinity Paper Arts Making The Team papers,
Don't forget to check it out! :)

Then a digital layout I made for a contest....at NDISB.
This layout is special because a friend sent me this song she wrote
because she knew I was struggling.
Not only was it amazing but I asked her if I could use
it in my scrapbooking. For her therapy is music, for me it is crafting.
Because I don't really want to point faces out (I don't really roll like that)
I used duct tape and paint to cover the photo. I really just wanted it
for my scrapbook to remind me that I have true amazing friends who
stand there even if it is silently, they are there and know how I feel
and are amazingly supportive when I need it.

Lesson learned for sure...not just a lesson learned about people
I should not trust but HUGE lessons on people I should trust~
The ones that step forward quietly and offer a gentle hand of kindred-ship.

For the layout I used the Oh La La digital kit from Samantha Walker.
I really love it, I am going to print it off and give up BOTH a copy! :)

Happy Tuesday my friends....off to have breakfast with a birthday girlfriend,
then a BIG game tonight...I don't have high hopes but hopefully the kids have fun!

~Digi-Spankers...So I Entered A Contest!~

Good morning my crafty friends,

Digi-Spankers...thats right people! LOL

A few weeks ago an old friend Kelly shouted out she wanted
to enter a digital scrapbooking contest on Natural Designs In Scrapbooking
but she needed a partner....so I volunteered, not really expecting her
to take me up on it! LOL But I am happy she did.

We decided to name our team DIGI-SPANKERS...
hey it fits right??? LOL

Here is the first challenge layout, the challenge was
to use a photo you were not totally happy with.
I took this picture in a booth at Toots and it was ORANGE
so I changed it to B&W and used it.

Here is a link to the layout
I used the new digital kit from Samantha Walker called "Road Trip".

I think it will be fun to play in the digi world a little.
I am always working with paper and love it but this is fun too.

Happy Tuesday my friends...♡♡♡♡♡
