Good morning my crafty friends,
wow I am totally blown away by how big the blog hop
was yesterday and very excited to share just one of the BRAND
NEW Clear Scraps releases for CHA!

I won't be attending this year, we are still recovering from the
holidays and company the last couple weeks.
BUT I am still crafting :)
Clear Scraps has these COOL new stencils...I am really digging them.
For this card I used the Shattered Glass Stencil,
this card is actually an acrylic card!
I spray painted the BACK of the Clear Scraps acrylic with paint
then on the front I applied paint using a brush and texturizing it.
Then I sealed it using PYMII. I love the effects.
I love the artistic feel of these stencils.
Clear scraps has OODLES of new releases  140+. Be sure to check them out.

~Courage- Not Alway Obvious~

Good morning my perfectly lovely friends,

I wanted to share this PIN I made, and it's all about courage today.
I guess when I think of courage I automatically think about that soldier
who fights on another day or that fire fighter who rescues those in danger.

But as I created this PIN I sat and thought about true courage,
what courage really can mean. That really "hidden" courage of the mom
who stays strong because her family needs her to be, because the children
need to see her smile. Or that wife who is afraid is she isn't strong then
her husband may not survive another year.
Or that Cancer survivor who faces one more Dr. visit, not wanting to go
in the door....to afraid to hear the results yet pushes through with COURAGE
and lives to fight another day.
Or the parent who makes those tough decisions, not knowing is they
are right or wrong, but deciding anyways- fingers crossed it is the right
move for their child. Because no one can see the future.
That's courage. I guess really every day you can find courage.
To be perfectly honest I don't know many people who don't have
courage, the only difference between them and that hero is...
no one really sees what happens day to day, but I see nothing
less them hope and inspiration.

Yes it's been one of those weeks already, so yes
I choose to see the courage today, because without courage I won't
see the hope and what is life without a little hope.

I am known for my raw honest blog posts and today is one of those days
to work out the kinks and emotion in my mind.

I made this pin with courage in mind...you can find the step by
step for it here.
I would encourage you to make one for someone
who has amazing courage but doesn't get noticed.
I know you know that person....we all do.

Have a beautiful and courageous day~

~Stamping On Acrylic With Ease~

Good morning my crafty friends,
I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July.
We spent the day with no fireworks due to a ban but the neighbors
must have not gotten the memo, they laid them out! :)

Anyways just wanted to share a couple goodies with you today.
This Clear Scraps stamped acrylic card I created...
This is just ONE of the fun cards for my acrylic card class, I thought I would
share it with you because I don't normally share an extra card I save it
but I thought you might like to know we will be learning live on video how to
stamp on acrylic as well as create this card! :)
You can still sign up! in fact 3 people did yesterday.
This is the class link...

Ok I know you are sick of hearing about it so this is the last time...
*I think* LOL

Now I have a digital layout to share too.
This was for Wonderful Wednesday next week, but
somehow wires got crossed and i's missed a dot so I am a day late. :)
I used the Retro Roadtrip collection from Samantha Walker Designs.
If you digi scrap this is a fun one!!!

Ok I am off to create with my Bind-It-All today!! What are you creating today?

~Surprise From Friends & Welcome Spring Acrylic Card~

Good morning my crafty friends!

You know yesterday was crazy at 70 degrees, it made me want to
start spring early and plant a garden but unfortunately it is supposed
to freeze tonight. LOL I thought I would share my latest Send It Clear
acrylic card with y'all today.
I embossed the acrylic then coated with purple alcohol ink,
then I added some purple stickles....it's rare for me to use purple
BUT I like it! :)
I added the pink tulle bow for fun.
I sure do love these Send It Clear Cards from Clear Scraps!
I spent yesterday with the boys at the Dr. office, and found out that
my son has Fifth Disease which is a common virus in children.
Some sort of Human Parvo...JOY! LOL It was a crazy day,
my poor little men, sick and surgery all in 2 weeks.
I will be so happy to see spring, then roll into summer.

Oh I wanted to share real quick what a sweet friend did for me.
My girlfriend knew I was having a heck of a day, she texted and
said "Can I come by real quick?" She came by with a fresh pan
of home made cinnamon rolls she had just made!

I tell you what, I about broke down and cried. I really needed it
yesterday and it was so sweet. Then I had the sweetest call from
Lindy, just making sure my boy was all right, simply checking in on me.

After that we went to Bible study and had a wonderful evening.
Some days are not easy but it's those people who lift you up
that really make life worth living.
I am very blessed and VERY appreciative to some amazing friends!
Looking forward to some casual social time with the family and friends
tonight too! :) I hope you have or do something small today
that makes a BIG difference in someone's life!♡♡♡♡
Love YOU and thank you for stopping by. :)

~Clear Scraps Fun Noel Banner~

Good morning and happy weekend my friends,
today I am headed to Mt. Juliet, Tn to drop off this banner
which happens to be my next class!

I wanted to do something classic for Christmas so I reached for
my red and green alcohol inks and started playing with
this adorable Clear Scraps banner (my favorite).
It is so hard to tell in person but it's like stained glass
when you see it real time.
And the letter just pop out.
I think I need some more light and some sunshine! LOL
It's so cold and cloudy this week.
If you would like to join me for this class it is
November 20th at 2pm and it is only 20.00! :)
It's perfect for Christmas time, you could give it as a gift
or just put it up on the tree! I am hanging mine early since we
just found out the in laws are coming on November 21st!

I may not be around much that week. The boys are tickled PINK! :)
Have a wonderful weekend.

~Halloween Decor & How To + Video Tutorial~

Good morning crafty friends! :)

I sat down the last 2 days and made this fun BOO Banner using
And here is a quick video on how I embossed the bats.
(In the video I show how to emboss a flower, but the same
technique can be used for anything that will fit in the folder.)
After I embossed each bat (ok my son did it for me LOL)
I took Jet Black Stazon Ink and rubbed it on each bat, then
I rubbed it over the edges to add a little more darkness.
Then I took Clearsnap Charcoal glitter, and glittered all the edges.
Around each bat, it not only added bling but covered any adhesive.
I used Beacon Fabri-Tac for this because Beacon is so amazing on
Clear Scraps acrylic, it does not crack or yellow or fall apart later.
For the BOO title I used Glue Arts U CUT Rais'ems to pop them
up and added green glass beads around the middle O for some SNAZ~
Since I wanted to add green pearls as the ribbon strands, and I
could not find them in GREEN, I used my handy dandy Smooch Spritz.
In Citrus Tickle, I just sprayed them down and it gave the pearls
a fun green hue. I love it!
I feel like now I need to say Easy Breezy Beautiful..... hahaha

Anyways a fun Halloween banner...Loves it!~
Happy Hump Day Everyone! I am off to bake and cook for my little
American Horror Story premiere party tonight.

~It's That Time Again! New Banner Time!!~

Good morning my friends,
It's that time once again, I was feeling very itchy to create a new banner
for the last couple weeks and this weekend just pushed me over the edge!

Getting back to my vintage roots and playing with paper.
I used a Clear Scraps Acrylic background, with the
Tally Scrapper September Kit for all the paper and embellies.
I used my McGill punches to create these roses and used the
Jenni Bowlin Paint Dabber from the Tally September Kit to paint
a BUNCH of the banner...I am really excited!
I guess I need to change my buttons and blog colors too!

Happy Wednesday everyone!
THANK YOU for coming by, I love my blog friends~
Through all the physical issues I struggle with, and all the
dramma in the craft world, you ALL keep me moving and creating.
THANK YOU! :)
