~Baseball Mom & 2 Digital Layouts~

Good morning my friends, 

Wow the weekend just flew by didn't it?

We spent our days on the ball field and fixing the chicken coop. 

Our first game was a loss but we really are coaching this year

so the kids who usually sit on the bench have a chance to shine

and play, win or lose, so it's all good. It truly is all about the kids.

The second game we won and it was a fun game, the coach and

kids laughing. We are very lucky. 

This is my oldest so watching the game. 

Anyways, here are 2 digital layouts I have been working on. 

This ones is sweet Bella at the ball field using the Samantha Walker

digital kits (of course).

 And this one is also using the Samantha Walker digital kits

with our dog Daffodil and our Cockatiel Allie.

I LOVE my paper crafting but I also love digital work as well. 

It's been fun exploring both worlds this year. 

Delving back into digital work after 2 years. 

I have a giveaway planned this week, just need to find time to 

set it all up. I am off to scrap before the kiddies wake up for school.

Just 3 more weeks left then home sweet home! :)

~Baseball Mom Saturday!~

Good morning my friends!

No scrapping for me today but as you know
the life of a crafting mom never ends LOL

This week I sort of volunteered myself (sort of LOL)
to make a giant baseball cake for the team
party today...so this is a 16" round cake I made.
I just finished adding the COYOTES 2010 name to it.

Also we are doing the signed baseball thing
for the poor coach, so I grabbed my Cricut and
cut out some letter from Gemstone Core'Dinations cardstock
and glued them down to the base...
That's what I love about crafting, you
can use it anytime!
Now to make a card!
I hope they don't think it's too cheasy
but what can you do on such short notice?
Our poor Coach he did the best he could,
he was a first time Coach, this league has no drafts
so they all leave the beginners and worst
players for the newest Coach and laugh all
the way to the ball park.
Who knew Little league had such politics?

They even gave him practice time, that they all
knew was baseball game time so our poor
team only got field practice like 4 times!
It was a huge joke to the other Coaches.
I find that really sad and wrong.

We were really lucky to have a Coach who
rolled with the punches and did the best he could
considering the circumstances.

OK Baseball mom rant over today LOL
Next year I know to get in there and kick
some butt!!!!!

~Super Saturday Exciting Weekend Ahead!!!!!!~

Good morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I woke up at 6am to feed my chickens on this beautiful chilly morning
and I was READY TO GO!
Last night my son played his FIRST official baseball game (in uniform and all)
and let me tell you, I am officially a baseball mom!
There was 5 seconds left for them to hit, they were going to lose
by I think 4 points, the Coach pitched to Justice and he HIT IT!!!!!
He ran his heart out and they ended up scoring 3 points, then another hit!
It was tied up and went into double OT!
They WONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!No it was not just for me, but the pride in my boys eyes,
the excitement that he actually hit the ball and was able to help
the team. *sigh* brought me to tears I tell you what.

no matter how centered and amazing someone is, they always run across
some crazies, I know I do, they are far and few between
but man when I run into crazies they are full on CRAZAY! LOL

Alrighty then, got to make it quick today, off to baseball again
I promise I won't flood y'all with baseball pictures and stories, this was
a special day being our first game. :)

so I will be taking pictures tomorrow of my orange and green chicks!
