Back From Vacation! W/ Mustache Mini!

 Hey there friends, well it took me a minute but

I am finally back from vacation ad semi- back to normal. (not really).

I have a fun project I created with the brand new 

Creating Made Easy August Kit- this Oh Happy Day album. 

I thought it would be fun to add photos later since my printer hates me these days LOL

 Pretty much everything except the spray paint (Krylon Coral and Black) 

is from the August kit- it's amazing. 

I will have a couple more projects I will be sharing. 

The vintage My Mind's Eye paired with Clear Scraps is just beautiful.

These are my very vintage mixed media cards I created using MR and Xyron. 

I am going to give a quick rundown of how I created these. 

If you make cards and DO NOT have a Xyron 9" Creative Station

trust me YOU NEED ONE! Like now...it makes card making so easy I love it. 

 Trim patterned paper to 4.5X6" Trim cork paper to 4X5.5" and use

Xyron 9" Creative Station to layer papers. 

In fact I fold my card base and run it right through my Xyron 9" Creative Station

so the cover on the cards sticks evenly and perfectly every single time. 

 Using Maya Road Canvas Coaster Album stamp sentiment onto

canvas itself. Using Xyron Adhesive Dots adhere canvas coaster

to front of card. 

 Layer on Maya Road Vintage Lace Tape, 

then adhere Maya Road Vintage Burlap Rose using Xyron Adhesive Dots.

 Use Xyron Clear Hold Adhesive to adhere Maya Road Metal Vintage

 Love Clip to front of card.

 See?? Xyron really does make adhesive for EVERY project and every medium.

Vacation Time!

I RARELY take time off the blog but I am headed to photograph a wedding

then off to vacation with no internet or cell phones even...

Surf Rider Window Decor

Here's a fun summery window hanging,

using the Clear Scraps Creating Made Easy July Kit and a 

Connie Crystal Suncatchers. 

Trim out patterned paper to coordinate with acrylic circle, 

Adhere to circle.

 Punch top and bottom holes. 

 Thread Sun Catcher using clear line- then cover with bow using 

ribbon from your stash.

 Thread ribbon through top and hang. 

 The colors are perfect for summer!

3 Card Of Encouragement

Good morning friends, 

I have a few projects to share and a warning, I will be leaving Friday and won't

be back until next Saturday with  no internet or phone, so my blog will be ON VACATION! :O 

I hope you will come back when I do :) 

My first card is the lighthouse image from Enjoy the Journey with 

the Let Your Light Shine sentiment, I cannot wait to share this card with a friend.
I used Xyron Double Sided tape for the glitter strip. 

My next card I used the cute tennis shoes and stamped them onto cork

paper and added twine- perfect for an encouragement note. 

And this last card I used the Enjoy The Journey set but I also added

The sweet turtles from the Takin' It Slow mini set.

Aren;t these amazing stamps?? I love them! :) 

Xyron, Simple Stories And May Arts FUN!

I usually have a tutorial for my projects but this time I am going on vacation 

so I decided to make it short and sweet. 

For this project I used my Xyron 9" Creative station to adhere

the papers to the Tri-Fold Frame, Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine 

paper and embellishments. 

 The Xyron Clear Hold Adhesive to hold the May Arts 3 Mill Diamond Chain 

in place, and Xyron Adhesive Dots to pop up the stickers. 

 Then I tied it together using the 3/8" May Arts Satin Reversible Ribbons.

Take Summer Lovin' patterned paper and use the Circle Basket File from SW store-

Using your Silhouette and the COVER Cardstock cut settings-cut file. 

 Assemble basket using brads, 

Assemble bow using glue dots. 

 Wrap basket with ribbon- adhere. 

Then adhere paper bow to front. 

 Using brads- add handle. 

Use Liquid Pearls to create fun dots around border- to offset strips. 

 Add one of the adorable journaling cards from the paper pack. 

 Fill with cookies and make a NEW best friend! :)
