~Some Fun Party Pictures & Scrap N' Tote Winner!~

Good morning my awesome online friends ♥

*side note* Please go check out the feature on Samantha Walker today!
♥ It's me! ♥

I had an amazing time last night with great local friends
at a Christmas party. Good friends, good times and good fun!

Remember those cupcake ornaments I was making yesterday?
They were for a house warming gift for a dear friend.

This is how I wrapped them up for presentation.
I used a real muffin tin so she would have a baking pan to top it off!

At the party we set up a photograph station for couples to get
their photos taken by the tree.
This is my awesome friend Adrienne with her hubby Aron
(I know they won't mind being on the blog LOL)
Here I am getting ready for the party with the new top I made!
It has a white furry bottom like Santa, I felt so cute!

Here is my friend Melissa with her hubby. I think the picture station
was a fun idea and I so wish I had been worrying less about
everyone else and snapped a shot of me and my hubby! LOL
It was a wonderful evening, I am so very blessed.
We even had a White Elephant *Dirty Santa* exchange.
I came home with a beautiful snowman trivet! *YEA*

Ok I know enough chattering Pinky! WHO WON THE PRIZE!
I put all the names into random.org and this is the winner!

~♥A Very Merry & Yummy Saturday To You♥~

*Don't forget tomorrow is the Scrap N' Tote WINNER and
Monday is the Imaginisce Blog with GIVEAWAY*

♥Good morning my amazingly delicious crafty friends♥

This week my friend Jan was making cupcake ornaments
and I had never felt the need to make them before...but she got me
curious about them. So I decided to start checking out sites and
I loved what I saw. BUT I wanted to tweek them and make
them my own instead of just following directions.

This is what I came up with.
They still look handmade, they are light and pretty,
but they are not as messy and some recipes I found, and not
as simple as others...I sort of made a happy medium.
Now hubby is not to happy with the incredible amount of PINK
glitter all over my house right now LOL
But I do love the results! :)
What do you think?? Is a video tutorial in order?

I am not really sure yet...I want to know what you all think.
If you all want one I will make it...but if you think
the cupcake idea is overdone I will just pass it and move on LOL
I do have a video coming up Wednesday with hand made garland
and a Christmas Card holder, also a new video for another Christmas
ornament, my annual one.
As I type I think I might have to do another one for these too LOL

Well it is cold and I have to finish prepping for tonight's party.
I made the fudge last night and so much food this week.
~Happy Saturday everyone~
~Once again THANK YOU for popping by~

~Scrapping with vintage lace & acrylic~

Good morning!!!!
It's a beautiful and very cold day today. I love it,
I am so ready for snow....hopefully it will soon then I will
feel ready for Christmas.

This week we are slowly but surely decorating and I am
feeling the holiday spirit for sure ♥

I love mixing old and new scrap products like
acrylic and vintage lace...I think it adds such a lovely
touch and it reminds me of my grandmother and history.

I made this layout at Tally Scrappers for a contest to win chocolate LOL

For the base I used a 12X12 Clear Scraps acrylic page then I cut
out the Hambly Doily Overlay and placed it on the acrylic, then covered it in lace.
I also love adding Platinum Paint to my layouts when I
do vintage looking pages. I used the Folk Art Metallic Taupe
paint because it looks just like Platinum.
I also spritzed the journaling spots with Spun Sugar Smooch
for a more aged vintage look with shimmer.♥
I love the new Extreme Tac adhesive from Glue Arts for the acrylic too
it stays on, it does NOT yellow and crack like the glues I have used
and it sticks really hard which is what I need, I like my pages to last!
I wish I could have captured all the detail on this layout.
I used almost a whole box of flowers from Imaginisce, I love
how they layered and the tulle flowers in the box.
I also used the i-rock and the swirls template that is so hard to find.
♥Ohh La La♥

The double lace was from my friend Gloria,
I have such amazing supportive friends including my online buddies
I am so very blessed to have so many friends who are so wonderful.

Ok I am off to bake the day away, we have
a party coming up on Saturday so I need to get it done!
The list is...
Caramel Corn (3 batches!) ♥
Cookies
Fudge
Brownies
Jell-o shots

I better get busy!!!
Happy Thursday everyone
~Have a beautiful day~

~Time Well Spent ♥~

Good morning my crafty friends!
Does everyone have pie hangover today??
I know my family does..hehe

Instead of listening to hubby snore and watch him passed out
I decided to hit my scrap room this morning and scrap those
Thanksgiving baking photos I took yesterday.
I love it, it makes me want to scrap all my baking pictures♥
I also used my Glue Glider Pro from Glue Arts and
American Crafts Thickers..I think that was it too! :)
It was so fun watching the boys chow down yesterday and
Gage was a riot at the table. He ONLY eats mashed potatoes, nothing else.
He cracks me up! It was a beautiful day.
I skipped the Black Friday shopping, I REALLY wanted to go but
I REALLY did not want to wait in line in the 20 degree weather
at Joanns, honestly I doubt I could have stood for that long with my back
acting up so much. We did drive by old Navy last night but it
was packed out the door, so we drove home real quick LOL

Hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving.

~From Me To You...~

Good morning my amazing blog friends...

♥From my heart to your home I wish you a beautiful Thanksgiving Day♥
I am so thankful for all of you and the wonderful
crafty opportunities this year~
I hope you have a beautiful day spent with the ones you love
whether they be related or not, enjoy your day.

*just a couple pictures from yesterday's prepping*

And a cute story about cookies...
I baked 2 pumpkin pies, made 2 mud pies, and began baking cookies.
I had them all mixed up and ready to bake, it was around dinner time.
I put 2 pans in the oven and prepped a third.
I finished baking them and left the kitchen for a break.
I walked back into the kitchen and all 3 boys had a handful!
So no molasses cookies for today LOL
I just let them have the cookies...I think they were dying from all
the other goodies they saw.

I have to giggle...it was so cute!

~Happy Thanksgiving~

~Do you YuDu? I do! & Holiday Traditions~

Good morning!
I have been playing with my YuDu this week in the midst
of all the chaos. You know I tell it like it is...I do tell the truth on my blog.

I thought i was not going to like it...but I cannot tell you how much
fun it is!!!! Oh I love it! I have already done 3 shirts and a couple of
Provocraft projects plus this pillow for the holidays
I love the simple elegance.
No I will not be the next 6 color printer but for basic awesome screen
printing, it works like a charm!
Plus I am thinking of making panels that I can velcro on
to the pillow covers and change them out every season! :)

For this Gingerbread man I cut it out in black on my Cricut
using the Winter Frolic cartridge, then I scanned it in my computer
and printed it onto my transparency.
Next goal?? Open my Imagine!!!!!
Oh and make a YuDu video....

By the way, I was worried about how clean the print would
be and you can see it prints the image clean.
Wait until you see the next Cricut Circle magazine and my YuDu project~~

Ok I am off to bake and prep today, last night I made my Jell-o
it's the beginning of my prep work! Today- pies and cookies.

After we moved away from all of our family in Oregon
I decided (ok me and hubs decided) that we would begin
our own family traditions.

One of them is that I make Jell-o Parfaits in individual glasses
and we break out special holiday goblets.
It is so silly but I wanted to make something special for my boys
and something they would remember year after year.
I think this year I will take pictures and scrap about the JELLO! haha

What are your traditions?
~Happy Wednesday everyone~

~Crafty Card Tuesday...Cartridge Storage Too!~

Good morning my amazingly talented crafty friends!

You know this week my girlfriend came over to use my
Cricut, and I think she died a little seeing how messy I am LOL
I am especially frustrated with my cartridge storage.
I am hoping this solution works and I love it!
Scrap'n Tote sent me a PINK (of course) Cricut Storage System.
But you know that is not all right??
No they sent me TWO!!!! One for me and one for y'all!

So...give me a day to check it out...and hopefully do a video review
and this week I will host a GIVEAWAY for one of these bad boys!
Thanks Scrap'n Tote! :)
*You know it's because of you all following, the
more following the more awesome prizes*
I love it! This is so fun!

Ok on to my crafty project.
Everything else I am working on is TOP SECRET
but I did manage to squeeze one in for the blog
I used the Girls Paperie papers, my Sentimentals Cricut Cartridge
for the card AND the envelope *yea*, my handy dandy stickles,
my hand dandy Glue Glider Pro.
Oh and Smooch Spritz of course!
Cricut Cuts Sentimentals:
Card1 *envelope* 5 1/2"
Card1 5" X's 2 one for front and back
Postcard 3"

Ok I am off to take care of my sick little man,
he is doing better the Doc gave him medicine,
so now it's a matter of time.

~Happy Tuesday y'all!~

~Snowflake Basket Lacy Fun~

Good morning a little late,
I had to take the little one to the Dr. this morning :)

I don't know about you but I am SO ready for winter
and the holiday season. Don't know why but I am ♥
When Samantha Walker showed us her new cut files I jumped on the
chance to make this basket! ♥♥♥ it!

I knew right away what I wanted to do.
Make myself a desktop box for the bits and pieces of lace
I always have sitting there leftover from projects.
Perfect size and cute as a button. It sure makes me dream of snow
and my husband dream of a better vacuum that picks up glitter LOL
Poor Andrew just is in heck this week with all the glitter.
I can honestly say that right now my keyboard is covered
and so is my living room carpet.
The carpet is because the new glitter for the YuDu...
I LOVE IT so much! Wait until you see the Cricut Circle Projects!♥

Ok I am off to help my little man...his brother went back to school
now he is sick as a dog.
So if i am scarce this week I apologize, these kids have been really
ill for 2 weeks now and it's so hard to get everything done.

~Love ya~
