~Sports Card & Layout Using Song By A Friend~

 Good morning my crafty friends,

Couple of projects today....first of all this card I made
using the Trinity Paper Arts Making The Team papers,
Don't forget to check it out! :)

Then a digital layout I made for a contest....at NDISB.
This layout is special because a friend sent me this song she wrote
because she knew I was struggling.
Not only was it amazing but I asked her if I could use
it in my scrapbooking. For her therapy is music, for me it is crafting.
Because I don't really want to point faces out (I don't really roll like that)
I used duct tape and paint to cover the photo. I really just wanted it
for my scrapbook to remind me that I have true amazing friends who
stand there even if it is silently, they are there and know how I feel
and are amazingly supportive when I need it.

Lesson learned for sure...not just a lesson learned about people
I should not trust but HUGE lessons on people I should trust~
The ones that step forward quietly and offer a gentle hand of kindred-ship.

For the layout I used the Oh La La digital kit from Samantha Walker.
I really love it, I am going to print it off and give up BOTH a copy! :)

Happy Tuesday my friends....off to have breakfast with a birthday girlfriend,
then a BIG game tonight...I don't have high hopes but hopefully the kids have fun!

~Friendship Cards & Mother's Day At The Hobbs~

Good morning my friends!! :)

We had a wonderfully busy weekend....I did sit down and create
these friendship cards because as you know I really don't
have a mother around and was quite inspired to make friendship cards. :)
I used Momenta goodness for these cards...
Saturday we had 2 games then Saturday evening a very impromptu
BBQ party at our home with wonderful people.
You know so often we get bust and don't get time to spend with
other families and when we get time to visit it is just amazing!

I am VERY thankful this week for KIND and wonderful
friends who are just so fun and supportive~

Anyways Sunday morning I woke up without hubby because he had
to work all day, BUT on their own the boys did this!!!
They cooked me breakfast and even sugared my eggs!!! ROFL
So yucky but so sweet LOL

Plus I never eat this much food so it was funny....and cute.
Gage came bounding in with a coupon book and this was the second coupon,
I could not resist sharing with you....how sweet is this?

Justice jumped up and said "Gage!!! That's not a coupon!!
You like to push mom!" ROFL hysterically laughing at that until I peed.
When hubby finally got him in the evening...he had this...

they all voted and thought the best gift was for a new gun.

I have been wanting a shotgun for a while but he could not find a pink
one so he got me a .22 rifle. It's adorable and little...and fun.
He said he will find me a shotgun very soon...it was a sweet gesture from
the boys! :) It was a nice Mother's Day.

Oh and I got to see my gal April again at the baseball lesson...
good times~ :)

~Sun Catcher Frame- Altered Art by Pinky~

Good morning my crafty friends! :)

I have a special project to share today, I have been playing with this
for a week now. It is a very inexpensive wooden frame I bought from
Michael's like 6 months ago that I decided to turn into a sun catcher~
The actual sun catcher is from Connie Crystal right here, just a stunning
crystal I must say, and if you looks closely below you can see the individual
crystal beads I added to the project from Connie Crystal.
For the paper and embellishments I used the awesome Weathered Spring
kit from the Scraptastic Club. I love the papers and embellishments.
I love the rustic feel, I am just so excited about this project! :)
I am having fun with these crystals, if you like what you see please
head over to Connie Crystal on Facebook.
You know I only endorse companies I believe in and these are
really great peeps.
Now off for a weekend of baseball...again LOL
Hopefully I will be back 100% well and so will my friends.

I do have some special projects to share this next week, I will be
seeing y'all soon! Happy Friday my friends.

~Family Layout w/ Acrylic Too~

Good morning my friends,

I have had this photo for months now, I avoided scrapbooking
it because it is so stuffy and posed LOL Anyways I finally decided
to print it and scrap it. I still giggle when I look at it because we are
so NOT formal and it's just silly to me.
I used the Scraptastic Club Weathered Spring kit for the layout
and I love the colors and rich feel of it.
I also used the Clear Scraps Pennant Embellishment pieces to create the banner.
I wanted the layout to be fun and carefree, complete opposite of the photo LOL
Anyways that's it for me today, I am off to create with my Zutter Bind It All
today and catch up on a few extra projects! :) Then a ball game tonight.

Happy Thursday my friends~

~Accordion Card-Samantha Walker Blog Hop~

Good morning my friends,

It's that time again, time for the Samantha Walker Creative Team Blog Hop
Each month we get together and create special projects just for the hop.
Also there will be a FREE SVG file and a prize of 10.00
gift certificate to Samantha's jessicasprague.com store.

Today I used my incredible Silhouette machine and the
beautiful Samantha Walker Cut Files to create this card.
I used the SW Heidi Paper Collection and
I added Liquid Pearls for accents in red & pink.
I also punched some cute butterflies to use on the band
and on the outside of the card.
And I stamped in RED a sentiment, trimmed it out.
The cut files made it so easy, I just had to embellish.
The card was called "Accordion Card 3 Panel"
For my second project I used the "Road Trip" digital kit
to create this digital layout.

After my blog you will be hopping on to the
and amazing AJ Otto's blog...(I just adore her)

~Digi-Spankers...So I Entered A Contest!~

Good morning my crafty friends,

Digi-Spankers...thats right people! LOL

A few weeks ago an old friend Kelly shouted out she wanted
to enter a digital scrapbooking contest on Natural Designs In Scrapbooking
but she needed a partner....so I volunteered, not really expecting her
to take me up on it! LOL But I am happy she did.

We decided to name our team DIGI-SPANKERS...
hey it fits right??? LOL

Here is the first challenge layout, the challenge was
to use a photo you were not totally happy with.
I took this picture in a booth at Toots and it was ORANGE
so I changed it to B&W and used it.

Here is a link to the layout
I used the new digital kit from Samantha Walker called "Road Trip".

I think it will be fun to play in the digi world a little.
I am always working with paper and love it but this is fun too.

Happy Tuesday my friends...♡♡♡♡♡

Good morning my crafty friends,
I wanted to share my post from Momenta this week because
I want to make sure that you all enter to win! :)

I also wanted to share that last week my blog
hit 500,000 blog views! :) Half a million I cannot hardly
believe that just crafting, raising chickens and being a goofball
has gotten that many hits, very fun! :)

This week Momenta is cross promoting with Card Positioning Systems
and if you enter you could win! It was super easy...

I used the sketch from this week and made these two cards.
I did add some girly touches with the pink ribbon, and pink pearl pen.

I have a crazy week ahead with projects and baseball so stay tuned.

And now, for the inspiration!!!!

My friend Melissa sent me this poem for my
sons in baseball. I loved it so much , I thought I would get all
crafty I would print it up and
then frame it or laminate it for the baseball field! :)

Making The Team was the perfect collection for this page.
I added a few stickers from the Making The Team Collection.
I also used the alphabet but I wanted to change it up a little so I used the
Viva Decor Liquid Pearls to coat them and make them copper. :)
That's it for me today, we are most likely in the field all morning
since we have 2 baseball games today! :)
Have fun with your blog hop! Happy National Scrapbook Day!!

~New "Do" & Waves Of Fun~

Good morning friends,

If you are on my Facebook you know I got a new "do" this week
and if not just scroll down, I had about 4" cut off my hair. I like it! :)

Anyways I wanted to share this layout that I forgot to share *gasp*
from last month's Scraptastic Club Kit.
It was such a fun kit with the funky artsy side. I loved using it.
I have been scrap-booking my gf's pictures (Jennifer) from
their beach vacation. It's so weird scrapbooking someone else's photos
but it is fun too! :) I used the add-on stamp kit too.
I rarely stamp on layouts but had fun with this one.
I also stitched all around the layout with my sewing machine.
Aren't these little tags cute? :)

So how fun is this new "do"? I love it! :)
Light and airy for summertime.
Happy Friday my friends, stay tuned for tomorrow's post, we have a
special blog hop with PRIZES coming tomorrow! :)

~Baseball Layout & Friend's Tattoo Adventure~

Good morning my friends,

I wanted to take a moment to share this layout with you and let you
know that if you head to Trinity Paper Arts, there is a tutorial on how
to make the baseball stitching happen on your layout.
I had fun making it and wanted to share how to make your own,
because I know there are alot of baseball moms out there! :)
And next I wanted to share my adventure yesterday LOL
My girlfriend Hayley texted in the morning and said "Hey let's go
get a tattoo today after lunch" I was of course up for it.
So we went to my gal at Touch Of South (Renee) and she was not
in but Robert was, so we scheduled an app. for 5:30.
She picked out her tattoo and we giggled and laughed the entire time.
It was a hoot! I had to share this picture too (She is going to kill me)
because I think she is so cute in it! LOL
It did not hurt she was just being funny. Robert has a very light touch
and he was a fun guy to bug for the day. :)
She has a bear for her son and wanted a sparrow for her daughter.
Very sweet.
It was so nice to get away from all the stress and just giggle for 3 hours.
Such a sweet friend, I cannot wait to scrapbook it! :)
Now today I am back to work, and back to crafting!!! :)
Maybe print these photos up and make some pages.
Happy Thursday y'all!!!!!
