It is Monday and I am ready to go.
I made a video tutorial this weekend for you all (& Helmar)

I felt so nostalgic after this weekend at the baseball field,
planting sunflower seeds and gardening, and spending time with the family.

in early May! I am so excited to be teaching locally.

Good morning!

I am soooo tired today!
yesterday we were on our way to the ball field and the
other coach called and said "where are ya?" we did not get the memo
on an extra practice!! LOL So it was a big run all over.
A great day but a long one.

Also we did this special project.
I decided the boys should have their first experience with gardening
on their own, so we made a Sunflower Patch in front of the chicken coop.
They are so excited!

This will be another adventure I will keep snapping shots of for ya.
You can always scroll past if your not interested, but it should be quite fun!
I have already made a layout with the seed packets too.

~Sweet Sweet Saturday.....~

Good morning all my amazing sweet crafty friends!

Today is going to be another Baseball mom day.
I get to be dug-out mom *YEA*
Should be fun. I wanted to share this email with anyone

Morning my amazingly crafty friends.

I had an inspiring day yesterday,
I was privileged enough to meet Cindy Conkerr and her beautiful daughter.
If you do not know about this charity or who they are, please do check them out.
Rebecca Peck introduced me to Conkerr and it has
stolen my heart. It really is a great cause.

Ok on to Crafty schtuff!
This is what I have been working on for the last few days...
and I have a story for you! LOL
So I head to Michaels thinking I would spend a couple bucks and
buy a foam wreath for the base of a project for Imaginisce/Purple Cows.
I get to the wreaths bases and hellooooooooo 7.99??? Umm
I don't think so! I have 3 kids with me, an impatient hubby and no coupon.
So I tell the boys to spread out and start hunting momma up a
cheap wreath. Just then I look over and I see a HAY wreath, neatly
wrapped in plastic wrap. OMG YES! Only 1.99 now I can handle that.
I snatch that sucker up and take it home and start working on it.
I left the wrap on because I THOUGHT it would be easier to work with.
Ok #1 did you know that wrap was not permanent? LOL
I had hay all over my chest and down my bra, what a freakin mess.
#2 Helmar 450 Quick Dry is my best friend in the whole world at
this point, becuase if I have to hold or glue one more piece of plastic and
flippin' HAY down, I might die! LOL
All in all I am pleased with it.
I used the NEW Brand new *that's right* Imaginisce To Love and Cherish
paper line....LOVES IT!
I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry (nothing else would have worked period)
SCAL
Clearsnaps glitter
And my handy dandy Purple Cows Freestyle Mouse.
I hope it was worth it. I will have FULL instructions for how to
on the Purple Cows blog this week some time
(they don't tell me when they love to surprise me LOL)

Gail had a GREAT question on my Helmar project the other day,
she asked if the V2 spray glue (Vellum adhesive) would stay affixed or if it fell apart like
other adhesives she had used. You all know I am the no BS girl, so I called
Helmar and decided to give it a good old fashioned experiment and this is what
they told me, and what I found! :)

They told me the bond is permanent, it does not dry out and fall off.
I wanted to test it out for myself and share with y'all.
I sprayed the Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive on both cardstock and paper yesterday.
I left it overnight because I wanted to see if it was going to fall off.
Now this morning when I got up
This is what happened, I tried to tear the Hambly off and it tore my cardstock.
Now remember I sprayed both sides to stick it together and you can see
it is still clear.
*I am NOT compensated by Helmar for this, this experiment is
completely on my own for my crafty friends who have asked me*

answers it for ya, this Hambly ain't going anywhere LOL

~Busy Tuesday, chick update, and new SVG's!~

Morning my crafty fun friends :)
I thought I would take today to update on my green and orange chicks
I have had some emails saying "HEY what's up with those chicks??" LOL
Well, here they are safe and sound, we are integrating them into
the flock today.

It is funny though, poor little fella's stick together

They LOVE hiding under the chicken ladder.
This week we are going to place perches and nesting boxes inside.
So far we have not lost one chicken out of 14! Not bad right?

You know this really has been such a great experience, I cannot wait for
the eggs and when they are fully grown.
It is looking like we have 4 maybe 5 roosters, so we will have some good dinners! LOL
I need to find out what they need to be separated and keep the neighbors sane.


OH and some information on the neighbors! LOL
The neighbors are getting chickens!!!!
They came over and chatted with us about it and sure enough,
they want chickens too...maybe we will convert the whole neighborhood!

~Playing with my SVG files, Cri-kit Pens, and Helmar V2 *FREE SVG for Pens!*~

Good morning!

Before I start there is a GIVEAWAY on Imaginisce TODAY!
HERE!

OK on to fun stuff
The only project I had time to work on this weekend was this
FUN make your own patterned paper project.
I am going to use this for a special project.
You might recognize the buttery from an earlier FREE SVG file
you can find HERE

I used a plain piece of cardstock (thanks hubby)
You can see it is textured and the Cri-kit Pens (Metallic) worked great on it.
I drew my shape on the paper with my Cricut, keeping the file open
on my SCAL for cutting the same size after.

I took a spare piece of scrapbook paper and cut out the butterfly with my Cricut.
Then I took the Helmar V2 (because it is re positionable) and I sprayed the back of
my cut paper and layed it OVER the cardstock with the drawn butterfly.
Next I took my Smooch Spritz (which totally rocks) and dries quicker than
some sprays, and I sprayed it over the masked cardstock.Looks how shimmery and shiny it is in person! OOooHH AahhhhHH Shiny LOL
I was thinking of making a Red, White & Blue baseball schedule clipboard.

Anyways, these pens are so much fun! I have hundreds of ideas in this crazy head.

~Scrappy Sunday, FUN new goodies, & Giveaway WINNER!~

Morning my crafty-licious friends.

I am running late today, I fell asleep early after all
the baseball mom duties and our picnic yesterday.

I always put such great pressure on myself to make an elaborate
very ornate card because after all, I am a crafter and what is what
people expect right? LOL Well this morning I needed to make a
birthday card and I decided to not worry about all the extras and just
go with the flow.I started with my CRI-KIT pens, and wrote the Happy Birthday
in Scriptina Font and I think I swooned! Anyways it's not super ornate but
it's pretty and I know my girlfriend will love it :)I used my trusty Helmar 450 on the bow because it does not
soak through and it holds quick. I love these little pins in the middle.
Makes the card seem more special I think.

I got an email from Cri-Kit this morning telling me they came out with a new tool!!
A Cri-Kit EMBOSSER!!!!!!! OMG! I am so excited.
Don't forget that I have some Cri-Kit pens to giveaway shortly.

~Super Saturday Exciting Weekend Ahead!!!!!!~

Good morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I woke up at 6am to feed my chickens on this beautiful chilly morning
and I was READY TO GO!
Last night my son played his FIRST official baseball game (in uniform and all)
and let me tell you, I am officially a baseball mom!
There was 5 seconds left for them to hit, they were going to lose
by I think 4 points, the Coach pitched to Justice and he HIT IT!!!!!
He ran his heart out and they ended up scoring 3 points, then another hit!
It was tied up and went into double OT!
They WONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!No it was not just for me, but the pride in my boys eyes,
the excitement that he actually hit the ball and was able to help
the team. *sigh* brought me to tears I tell you what.

~Pure Magnetism Cards & More SVG files~

Good morning my amazingly crafty friends.

I hope to inspire you today to step out of your box and
send some love to someone who needs it today.

Clearscraps acrylic was definitely one of the reason I came up with these.
So, I know what you are thinking....
"what is the crazy pink headed one talking about today???"

Well, let me explain to ya :)
I have a couple of good friends who are going through some rough patches
lately (like we all have at one time or another) and I got to thinking
I would send some cards out, but then I wondered what else could I do?
I wanted a card on steroids! LOL
Why not make a card that attaches ot hangs from the fridge??
So every time someone comes into the kitchen they remember that
you took the time to say "hey I love ya, I care"
So go check out the blog :)

I came up with these (This is just one version)
Acrylic cards that are not your traditional folding card,
but instead have magnets and would be double sided.
The front would be a version of a card or mixed layout
and the back would have a special message
whether it be hand written or printed on

Now this one I used my new Cri-Kit pens to write the "You Are Loved"
OMG how cool is it, not to have to find a rub-on or print
something up on my computer, just be able to type it out on my Cricut and
cut it out! LOVE these pens!
This one I had to share a sneak peek because guess what I used to attach the
Hambly to the front of the Pure Magnetism card??
Helmar V2 Babay! That's right, it dried invisible! Look at that!
I am so excited to be able to glue down Hambly with no visible glue.
Helmar V2 rocks my socks off LOL
