~Happy Scrappy Thursday!~

Good morning!!!!!
It feels like the last few days have been a blur but a good one ♥

I have to laugh about this layout because I had intended it to be
an 8.5X11 layout but somehow I cut it wrong so
it became a 12x12 layout LOL

I used that amazing Scraptastic Club Kit that Jessica sent me
and I am still in love with it! I can't help it!
I think it is the colors and the soft snowy feel.
Jessica always encouraged me to scrap my own way, I love
that kind of attitude because I am all about scrapping real life.
My Christmas was amazing this year but I also reflect on
my past as the New Year comes and mistakes in judgement I make.
This year my resolve is to be more aware of people who use
me and try to have more meaningful female relationships.
Treat them like I would a "love" relationship.
Expect the same respect anyways. So I hope LOL

Journaling: I definitely live with no regrets but that doesn't
mean I don't make mistakes. When I have a friendship
I give it everything I have and sometimes that is a big mistake.
I definitely have a great eye for finding "friends" who use
me to get ahead while I sit there thinking I need to give a little more.
I just have to grow and learn and trust my husband who
warns me every single time!

Now no one tell my husband I said that OK??? LOL

It's all just a part of life and this year my hopes are for
a more peaceful personal life. Not allow as many people in
but allow the ones of quality in ♥

I want to THANK Jessica from Scraptastic Club once again
for sending me this kit....I am so grateful!
You will see one of her kits at CHA this year! :) In the Clear Scraps
booth on a tri-fold frame. I will share later this week!

Ok I am off to get things done...
♥Happy Thursday everyone♥
Thanks for stopping by!

~Big News Today!~

Good morning my scrap-a-rific friends !!
I have some incredible new today...

A few weeks ago I was approached about a new venture.
A site/store/forum I had been a member on for a while now
and in fact went to meet the girls last July for a weekend getaway...
well they asked me if I would like to take over.

The owners we changing and they wanted me to represent Tally Scrapper
becoming the President and face of Tally, taking care of the site
and creating new fresh kits and running the day to day operations.

I had done this before for my own private forum but nothing with a store.
I think this will be a wonderful adventure and great opportunity to
really bring my own personal touch to an already amazing community!!

This is the silly video I made for the introduction :)

I have already created a February Kit -Love In Paris
it is on order and on it's way to my house to kit up.

Things are going to go slow at first but as we get everything changed over
it is going to be an amazing site just like it used to be with a little
extra PINK in it *wink*.

Come check it out if you want,
thanks for being patient with the announcement LOL

Don't forget...TOMORROW a DOUBLE BLOG HOP
DOUBLE the chances to win and DOUBLE the fun!
Be sure to check back!!!!!!!

I am snowed in with the boys so back to making them happy
~Happy Tuesday~

~Huge News Coming & A New Layout~

Good morning!!!! Happy Sunday!!!!

I have some HUGE NEWS coming soon, I am waiting on
a loose end before I can announce it but it's going to be some FUN!

Also on the 12th there will be a Clear Scraps BLOG HOP with
sneak peeks to the brand new CHA releases! WOOT!~

Oh and Wednesday is a Samantha Walker Blog Hop!!!! YEA!
I cannot wait to share my project♥

But for today....I made this layout.
I know some people think I am weird for scrapping pictures of food
or no pictures at all, but I have so much fun looking back on my pages.
I made this Peach Cobbler and loved the look so I photographed it.
I knew when I saw the Holy Mittens Santa kit from Scraptastic Club
that I was going to scrap these pictures with it! :)
I also used my Imaginisce i-top (love that thing) and my
Glue Arts Glue Gider Pro...I think that was it! :)
Oh and my Fiskars border punch.
I really just had fun with it, it was a good relaxing day and I wanted
to scrap a night and light layout. Thanks Jessica from Scraptastic Club
who gifted me this kit! I am so thankful, you are so KIND! :)

I will see you all tomorrow and let's hope against all hope

~Time For A Change!~

Good morning!
Last night I was getting my boys ready for school and thought it was time
for a change! A blog banner change that is!! hehe

Can you believe every single child of mine is actually in school today?
No more sickies in my house!!!!!! *Yea*

So, I love the banner but am still debating on the photograph.

I used Clear Scraps as a base, October Afternoon as base paper, Martha Stewart
punch, Fiskars punch, my Purple Cows Freestyle Mouse to cut the acrylic,
Cosmo Cricket letters, American Crafts Thickers, Imaginisce i-bond and Roly Poly
Posies, Jenni Bowlin butterflies and banner, Bazzill buttons....

♥~The Box~♥

Good morning my blog friends...
I have a special blog today that has nothing to do with scrapbooking.
Today I wanted to share my special holiday story.

♥The story behind this very special box♥
Many who know me even online know I am a survivor of
extreme childhood and adult abuse.
I am a strong advocate for children who have been abused
and often share my stories and struggles as an adult who successfully survived.
So it is no shock that I have very few good childhood memories.
In fact I really believe that every bad experience I had as a child probably
little by little erased any good ones, so I feel very blessed to have some
wonderful memories at my grandmother's house.
I remember going to her home and everything that was bad in my life
would slip away for a few short hours and I became a princess who was loved
and adored and respected, if only for the day.
My grandma "Ginger" would take me in her room and let me sit on
her water bed and put her hair in rollers and brush it as much as I wanted.
She let me look in her jewelry drawers and try on her earrings, she told
me how pretty I was and what a good girl I was, how much she loved me.
I never heard that at home, I never thought I was a good girl.

I always thought I was a horrible ugly little girl who was bad in her heart.
It was an experience I will never forget going to her home and spending
time carefree like a child should be.
She taught me to can green beans, cook oatmeal and gave me my first
bowl of Trix cereal. All such small things but left a lasting impression on me.
Anyways..before I moved away from Oregon I spoke with my Grandpa's new
wife and told her "If you ever find a pair of clip on earrings from my grandma
please let me know, just one pair would be so nice" And I told her my story
of sitting in her room. 5 years later this week I received a big box
in the mail. I had no clue what it was it just said "Oregon" and
was from my grandpa. I cut the box open and immediately began crying
I could not stop the tears from flowing at that point.
In fact I cannot stop crying while I type this out!

I saw the wood and I knew exactly what it was.
It was the jewelry box my grandmother let me dig through
and pick out those earrings to try on. I pulled it out and I could
smell the wood in my living room. At 35 years old I did not think a box
would ever bring me to tears. I opened it up and inside was a note...
"I did not find a pair of clip-ons but I thought you would like this,
your Grandpa made this for Ginger and it is dated on the back".

I don't think my boys understood why mom sat in the living room on
her knees crying for a half hour. I don't think that Dennise (who sent the box)
will ever truly understand what this meant to my broken heart.

The moments with my grandma were some of the only pain free
safe moments of my entire first 16 years in life. Those moments I hang on to
for dear life. I had nothing tangible to touch or hold from those days.

What an amazing way to end the year of 2010.
I had to share with my friends online...and for anyone
who is a survivor...It DOES get better and you do find those
good memories after time and healing.

Oh and one more note at the INSISTENCE of my friend Molly...here is what she wrote yesterday in my comments ♥
Blogger Molly said...

I'd like to take a moment of everyone's time to ask you to nominate Cristal/Pinkie for her blog in this year's Eleventh Annual Weblog Awards: The 2011 Bloggies! http://2011.bloggi.es She surely belongs as a nominee in the category of Best Art, Craft, or Design Weblog"!!!! ~I-Top Blog Hop!! Fun gift ideas~

Good morning my HOPPY FRIENDS! :)

You know the Imaginisce i-top Blog Hop is running this week!!!!

I have a fun little gift projects today to share on this hop.
I love to make big wonderful elaborate gifts as much as the next person,
but let's face it...I have 3 kids, 10 chickens, a dog and a husband.
They inhibit my non-stop craftiness sometimes LOL
So I came up with this sweet and inexpensive gift for the acquaintance
or maybe a neighbor on your list.
Maybe even one of the hundred teachers
you have in your children's school.
A sweet handy ~COUTURE MAGNET SET~
That's right it's COUTURE ...Pinky Couture in fact!*wink* hehe
I used my awesome handy dandy i-top of course. And the magnet daddies,
(I love the hand made touch fabric gives these),
and the Garden Party embellishments for the holders.
These were fun, easy, and functional too~
You know you can win a brand new i-top prize plus a big prize
on Friday if you check in every day this week! :)
So go check out the next blog...

The next stop on this blog hop is...the amazing Melinda!

~Happy Tuesday and thank for hopping by~

~New Year Scrapping Already!~

Good morning my crafty-licious friends♥

Are you scrapbooking your New Year yet?
I wasn't going to but I needed to get away from the kids and hubs yesterday
so I hid in my scrap room and made this page.

I had a wonderful surprise 3 days after Christmas on my front porch.
You know Jessica from the Scraptastic Club?
I just met her recently and she is so sweet and so kind...
even though I am not designing for her she decided to send me
one of my all time favorite kits! So I dug it out and scrapped using
the Holy Mittens Santa! Kit! Isn't it fun??! Oh I love it!
For New Years we spent the evening with a HUGE bonfire on our property and
the neighbors came over about 5 minutes into the bonfire. I was thinking
"Oh no already?!" then they said "Hey can we use your bonfire for our burn
pile too?" LOL I was like Heck yes!!!!!
They stayed a visited about 2 hours and my good friends
Adrienne and Aron came over, it really was a FUN NIGHT!
The kids LOVED it, full of manly bonding and marshmallow roasting.
I loved it, full of girl chats and White Russians *hehe*
It was one of the best New Years we have had in a long time.
Since I had so many pictures (Thanks Adrienne) and I wanted to group them
I decided to print them all in 2X2 size.
And don't you LOVE the embossed stickers in this kit?? I love them so much
the greys, blues, and wintery mix makes me smile.
I used my Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge to make the tiny frames.
You know what I tried on this page? The Glue Arts Raise N's I really
like how easy they were to use, I think I will be using them again.
I had not tried them before today and I really like them!

You know Glue Arts does not compensate me at all *just in case you wondered*
I just LOVE their glue so when I use it I try to let everyone know
what I used. I do get many emails asking me what products I use.

That's it for me today, I am TRYING to get my kids back
into a normal schedule. They don't go back to school until the 5th
so I will be pretty busy until then.

Now on Tuesday....I think Tuesday LOL *tomorrow*
I am going to be in another smaller BLOG HOP
for Imaginisce with AWESOME prizes, so come back!

~See y'all tomorrow!~
~Thanks for popping by~

~Happy New Year w/ A BANG & prizes!~

Good morning and a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It is officially 2011 and I feel fresh and anew already.

Today is the new sketch challenge at Imaginisce but guess what?
It's NOT a sketch challenge, it's an ALTERED CHALLENGE!

Guess what else?? I am the lucky girl who gets to bring in the
New Year and the new challenge!!!!!! WOOHOO! I love Imaginisce.

The challenge is to "Find" something to alter, not buy something new.
It's all about recycle and re-use.
So I found this clock I have had for many years....and if you want to see
the original clock and details...guess what? You have to hop on to
the Imaginisce blog to see it all....

You will want to hop over anyways because they are giving away
a HUGE prize package just for hopping today...
including on my blog!!!!!!
So get over there and you could win BIG!!!!!

Once again I want to thank each and every one of you for being a huge
support in 2010. My life changed so much last year and it
was all for the better and honestly, all of you made it happen for me.
Without all your love and support I would not be where I am today.

~Mitten Weather Altered Fun~

♥Good morning and Happy New Year to all my friends in blog land!♥

Are you ready for the New Year's Eve celebrations tonight?
We have company coming and it will be a casual fun night.

I did sit down yesterday and scrapped a little.
I bought this unusual door hanger from Old Time Pottery
in December with the intention of scrapping it before Christmas
but obviously I got a little busy.

This was painted an ugly checkered green with crazy odd trees
all over the mitten. *I wish I had taken before pics!*
I decided I wanted to use it for the winter on my bedroom door.
I wanted it to be soft and pretty so I could use it all winter not just Christmas.
I used the Imaginisce Enchanted Line, the Roly Poly Posies, my ibond,
the letters are Basic Grey, and also I used the Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive.
I also coated the Mitten Weather in Stickles, then covered them
in the Glossy Accents from Ranger.
Overall I have to say I am pretty happy with it BUT I think I will keep
it in my scrap room instead LOL
Oh and on the sides I used that Smooch Ink...LOVE that stuff.

Ok I am off to go cook!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Come back tomorrow for HUGE PRIZES!
~Thanks for popping by~

~After Christmas Crafting Begins ♥~

Good morning my amazingly talented crafty friends!

Between crafting for CHA, the new catalogs and other commitments
I nearly forgot to make thank you cards from Christmas this year
so I sat down yesterday and started the process.
I love sitting down and scrapping for the ones I love, the ones I know
will appreciate my card, it makes it so much fun!

Really I just used scraps for the entire card, and
the new Couture Core'dinations cardstock, it's that pre-glittered yellow.

I don't have alot today because I have a tutorial on Clear Scraps today,
a Blog Hop and FUN project on Imaginisce Saturday...
fun new reveals for Clear Scraps this month
*trust me when I say you will be blown away*
Another Blog Hop on the 4th of January with awesome prizes and
a blog hop for Samantha Walker on the second Wednesday of January.

So please stay tuned and come back this week!
I have my wonderful family home today so I better get back to being
a mom and cook and maid LOL

~New Video Tutorial W/ New Tool *D-Stress*~

Good morning my friends!
Yesterday was a FANTASTIC DAY, I finally got my hands on the
newest tool from Imaginisce, the d-stress tool.
As soon as I heard about it, I knew I would love it.
**Coming soon to stores near you**

I am not even playing, it totally makes me so happy
so of course I made a video with the new tool and how it works.
Check it out ♥
*sorry it is dark, you know I usually wait but I had to get it done*
If you make mini albums or alter chipboard/acrylic in any way
you are going to love this tool for filing. I am throwing away my old files.

Ok I am off to plan for my New Years Eve Party and get the
boys to the Dr. today....
Happy Hump Day everyone!

~Country Girl~

Good morning my crafty friends!
I am BACK!!!!

I had to take a couple days off for Christmas and to heal,
my poor kids and hubby well all of us have been sick for a while now.
Thanks goodness we are all on the mend *smile*.

I did get time to sit down and scrap over Christmas.
I am determined that before 2011 ends I will have my 8.5X11 scrap book
filled if it kills me! So you might see some pages that size this year♥

This page is from the Samantha Walker Cowgirl Line....isn't is adorable?
I was so excited when she sent it to me, I knew right away I was
going to scrapbook my country lifestyle.
You know it is unusual to find a beautiful country style line
that is not all cutesy and child like, so this line is perfect for me.
It is very country and I can imagine many pages with my chickens LOL
The only thing I added was twine, vintage lace, Thickers, and a little bit of stickles.
I even used the cardstock stickers for my journaling.
Oh and of course my handy dandy Glue Arts Glue Glider pro LOL
I know I do not have the "country" look but really all I ever wanted
was to have a little farm with animals.
If we could have afforded it we would have 10-20 acres
with cows, chickens, honeybees, and a garden. Heck I'd even like to have
a Christmas Tree Farm if I could! But the 2 acres and chickens will have to do.
Now if I could just find the perfect PINK cowgirl hat LOL

Stay tuned for my January 1st post on Imaginisce with
HUGE prize packages!!!!!

Now back to keeping these boys entertained and preparing
for the New years Party we are hosting this weekend!
Happy Tuesday, thanks for stopping by♥♥
