Ok on to the chicken FUN~
It's an exciting day in the Hobbs home,
we went last night to buy a NEW Chicken Feeder! LOL
Oh the joy and excitement!
We began with a small red one for the babies
and sort of forgot we would need a larger one for grown chickens.
Finally we broke down and paid for one last night.
It was quite the stir in our house...(how boring are we? LOL)
When I went out to get a shot of it one of my favorite little chickens
was just standing there, I swear she asked me to take her picture!
Maybe she was saying "I am ready for my close up now"
At any rate, usually she hides so I was pleased to see her out.
Also I got this girl but she is WILD I mean WILD
of course they never peck or anything but if you try to hold
this one she flips out flapping and making a fuss.
Another fun event yesterday (which is why I did not craft at all)
We had new furniture come!
It is a HUGE step for us because when we packed up and left Oregon
we had new furniture and everything was set.
We sold everything and moved 3300 miles away.
It has been a long journey but it finally feels like we are getting back to normal
I even dug out and old heavy mirror I am going to paint this week!
Oh and I have my reading corner again *YEA*
I detest the pillows but the couches are ok, we bought
them without knowing the true color because they did not
have a swatch. They are darker than the picture shows but I am
sure I can spruce it up!

Love the idea of having a reading corner. Hmmm, what can I sell, give away or get to grow up and leave so that I can have a reading corner, will probably also have to be in my imaginary craft room.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you have had a busy week and need the reading corner. I did not like the pillows that came with our couch either so I went and bought fabric and covered them and added some nice trim, they look great now, if I do say so myself:) Have a great weekend.

oh I just love your RED furniture!!!! I am in the process of attempting to fix a scrap room....I want a nice reading corner too....and tv, and stereo....lol. Glad you got a reading corner - was going to say your reading corner but if it's like my house, once I put in the chair, ottoman and lamp, my grandson took it over. Ironically, I was at a B&B earlier this week and at breakfast we got to talking about the pros and cons of raising chickens in a residential area and whether the city code should be changed to allow it. I wish you'd been there to explain to us how you do it. Some people were against it (roosters crowing, waste smell), but I thought it should be allowed (I being someone who knows nothing about raising chickens, lol).
