I am so happy to be here today!!!
Can you believe I almost missed the Dirty Scraps challenge
this week? *phew* with the blog hop I plum forgot,
but yesterday morning I sat down and made my layout.
The challenge is MOVING ON UP
Moving On Up-
We all have life experiences that define us whether they be good or bad.
Even the bad experiences help us to grow and move on.
I have to say I have had my share of so called friends who
just use me for one reason or another, whether it be money,
childcare, to get ahead, for sympathy...you know, we have all had
people in our lives like this. Then they treat you like garbage.
Lately I have had my share. :)
Sometimes you just finally see it one day, and have to move on.
This is my take on the challenge.
Turning it all into art.

I LOVE it, it is way more shimmery then some other brands.

Love the layout and the journaling is perfect! Seeing the good in others is a gift and it's to bad that the others don't believe in themselves enough to stop being users. I still think everyone going "pink" for a day would be a whole lot of fun :D

OH! I am so glad your friend came out with this product! I sont have any glimmer mists right now, and would LOVe the pink-but the other colors are great too. I have 3 girls! I would use the pink almost every project! Love the mini very cute!!Ive never used acrylic but would love to>

I love your layout! The journaling says it all. It's sad that we have to deal with people like this but if it makes us stronger because of it....so be it! I'm off to check out that shimmery mists. I've been looking for some.
ReplyDeleteYour LO really says a lot. I think people who tend to look for good in everyone do get burned in "friendships" a lot. Have to say, I have been there and have had to move on myself a few times. It hurts, but it does feel good when you move on and know it was your choice to do so and you did the right thing.

ReplyDeleteok, I could have used that shimmer mist in tangerine and hot pink momma last week when I made my Fiskar's BCAM project. I also subed to Clear Scraps. I've visited their blog recently looking for Halloween ideas. Loved the heart they had there.
