Snow Falling Ornament Plus Instructions

Hey there friends,
How crafty do you feel around the holidays?
It's like asking if a polar bear is white right? LOL

I created this handmade ornament using a Samantha Walker SVG
file and  CutCardStock paired with Clear Scraps acrylic.
1. Using heavy duty card stock and SW SVG Oval Frame file- cut 2 in 2 colors.
2. Trim out Clear Scraps acrylic to fit in between (trim 2 CS acrylic pieces).
3. Adhere glitter to oner side of the acrylic piece.
4. After glue dries, adhere acrylic sheets together creating sealed glitter snow.
5. Adhere oval frame together alternating frame colors.
6. Adhere two frames together with acrylic in between.
7. Punch hole into top.
8. Add snowflakes and gemstones.
9. Thread ribbon through.

It's actually a heavy duty ornament! :)

Fall Theme Luminaries Instructions Included!

 Happy Monday friends,
Most of you know my son has Autism, this weekend was so cool because he competed
in an archery tournament. You know he quit baseball because the coaches
were s intense with him, he had nightmares and was picked on by
the "cool" kids...so archery has been a BLESSING in so many ways.
A sport that he not only seems to be starting well at but also
no one bullies him or YELLS at him to do better or HIT THE BALL!
I love that the sport is coached by officers who care so much.

Anyways he won the "Spirit Award" this weekend. great weekend for him.

Anyways he is so scared of the dark, and lately we have had power outages
in our area, so I decided to make him these little luminary bags to set
on his dresser when the power goes out.
Inside they contain a battery operated flameless candle, completely
safe and perfect to keep him feeling comforted.
If you go to the Samantha Walker Blog you will find a set of step
by step instructions to make your own using Krylon paint paired with SW cut files!

These would also make wonderful holiday table decor, or even
on your TV stand etc....they are so easy to make and pretty to boot!

Christmas Card Making Time!!

This is one of my favorite crafting times of year- Christmas Card
Crafting time and snowy fun crafting.
This is a card I created using an SVG file and CutCardStock then I
pie their glitter card stock behind it and added some punched snowflakes.
I also added gemstones and studs for more dimension.
I love how simple and elegant it looks.
It's just the beginning! Here we come Christmas season!!!

Food Scrapbooking? Is That Legal??

Hey friends,
You know i never realized just how much food I made,
until last night I was looking for food photos to make
a layout with the SW Christmas In The Kitchen line...and holy moly!
I think I do nothing but cook! hahahaha
Anyways I found some photos of muffins, and cinnamon rolls, you know I
bake like a madmen around November through Feb.

Do they have a support group for over bakers???
Maybe it's just called Weight Watchers haha! I am totally kidding
as a plus sized gal who barely eats her baking I really am kidding. :)

Happy Thursday friends, I am off to help with ARCHERY and help
a friend with a wedding. WOOT!

Photography And Scrapbooking

Happy Monday friends,
I have been so busy this year starting my photography business and
also maintaining my crafters status. Not easy juggling life changes and
crafting but it's definitely therapeutic.
One thing that always goes hand in hand is photography and scrapbooking!
I don't usually use my photos for pages, but these fall shoot was so fun
I couldn't resist one digital scrapbook page using the SW Fall Harvest digi line.
And sharing a couple photos from this shoot on their farm.
I really need to get out with MY boys and take a Christmas shoot! I think
I will next week sometime.
In the meantime, enjoy these precious faces! MY goodness.

Morning friends, it's been a crazy week so far.
With the boys sick last week and mom sick this weekend I still managed to
squeeze in some crafty time.
Actually this is my favorite time of year to craft because I love the holiday
glitter and shine that happens!
For this project I used Gold Krylon paint, along with Clear Scraps Mascils,
And some beautiful ribbon from  Ribbons Unlimited along with some
Connie Crystal crystals, and CutCardStock.

I am happy with how it turned out.
What gifts are you making this year??

Burlap And Thanksgiving

Fall is the perfect time for burlap and all those warm colors.
I have a "Friendsgiving" coming up and I really want to have scrapbook
pages to save the memories.

The CME November Kit is so pretty because it includes not only fall
papers and Thanksgiving goodness but also burlap.
For this layout I used alcohol ink on the back then I put the papers
and embellishments on the front.
The chipboard leaves I had in my stash, but the rest was the kit!
Happy Monday friends... :)

Blessings- Burlap W/ Acrylic Card

Hey there friends,
I have a card to share today, it's a Clear Scraps Send It Clear card using the
Expression "Blessings" that is in the CME November Kit.
I used a texturizing spray (Irresistable) on the title-then I inked it with StazOn.
On the inside I used the burlap strip from the kit, and then added
a velvet ribbon on the outside flap.
I guess i was feeling like adding textures this week! :)

Gift Bag Idea + Tutorial

Have I mentioned how much I love fall and crafting during fall?
The kids are in school, the days are colder, it's just nice go snuggle in and create.
With the CME November kit I created these gift bags, which were included! HOLLA!
First I sprayed the acrylic frames with Irresistable Spray from Imagine Crafts,
after I let them dry I inked them with StazOn.
Then I trimmed out the patterned paper to fit the front panel on the bags.
I trimmed the burlap to fit in the frames, and glued them to the back.
I added it all to the front of the bags and added some pins and ribbon.
Really it's  nice simple handmade touch to a gift that would easily bring a smile.

Check out the kit at
Grab yours and CREATE! :)
