Good morning my crafty friends...I am BACK!
Long time no see right?...my in laws leave tomorrow and I finally
had time to sit down and craft during out Christmas vacation.
Today I have a fun new project to share- the Avocado Arts January Stamp
set- Perfect Blend...LOVE these stamps, especially considering
hubby bought me a new coffee machine for Christmas.
(I don't drink coffee but I am going to learn to love it LOL)
I wanted to do something fun with this coffee cup so I used my
Cameo and the AA digital file to cut out the cup, then used
Clear Scraps acrylic to place behind it.
And I used black and copper glitter to fill in the "drink" area.
I think it's a fun time!
Isn't this set amazing!

Good morning and Merry Christmas,
As you know in our home we have my husband's parents who
flew in from Oregon and these are just a few photos from the last
few days. Minus a nasty fall it has been a wonderful visit.
Everyone is happy and momma is recuperating on the sofa! LOL
Plenty of friends and family around- lovely year~ :)

~Creating Keepsakes Ornaments W/Clear Scraps & Authentique~

Good morning my friends,
Yes I am still making ornaments for fun and for my family this year.
It seems I am always up to something, yesterday I managed to sew
4 pairs of pajama pants for a gift and today I am hoping to finish #5.
I created this ornament using the Clear Scraps Bell Mini Album
and the beautiful Authentique papers. I did this because all week
Clear Scraps is sharing projects using Authentique so I thought I
would join in the fun on my own blog! I love this paper!
On the back I used the acrylic and just popped up some
glitter with a pearl pen. Just highlighting the paper design.
I have always loved bells and this makes me smile,
all the vintage style feel, perfect for my tree! :)
Oh and I tried that super strong E6000 glue on the edges,
love it! I think this will totally last a long time!
That's it for me today, my hands are full with the in laws and kids...
also I have to finish these Christmas gifts...wish me luck!

~Soul Friends- Enjoying The Journey~

Good morning my friends,
You will find me quite scattered this week as tonight I drive
into Nashville and pick up my in laws! :) And the Christmas vacation begins.
But before that I wanted to share a couple things with you...
a project I created for Connie Crystal and a special moment yesterday.

I am just sharing a sneak, not the entire project! Go check it out...
I also used all the goodness from Jinger Adams...*beautiful*
As I create it is always like therapy, this has been an eventful year
but it also has forged the best relationships as well, so for that I am so blessed
and extremely happy. I am finding peace from the very dark years of my past.
Yesterday my close friend Shauna, brought me this gift...the most heartfelt
gift I think I have ever recieved. It brought me to tears...and I wanted to share
with you because it is such an amazing idea....
This beautiful necklace with this note inside...I just cannot think of a
more heartfelt thing to do or a sweeter gift for a friend.
I was humbled and blown away.
For me Christmas is never about the gifts and definitely about friendship
and love and sharing. (For me that's crafting and baking up a storm!!)
This really choked me up and I am so blessed to have such amazing
strong women in my life. She is not the only one I am blessed with but
I can say this Christmas is very special...I am enjoying
the journey, every amazing moment-
and I hope you all have the most amazing holiday season as well.

Happy Monday my friends,
Well I think everyone is mid swing in the holiday season now, I know I am!
In the middle of baking, shopping, parties, and all that jazz.
Why not lighten the mood and create something funny...release a little
of that holiday stress! LOL I just love this stamp from VLVS
I also used this open bird cage stamp from Plate 1302
I love creating a sassy saying and using beautiful papers and embellishments.
I used the Samantha Walker papers and added some pretty American Crafts ribbon.
I hope it gave you a giggle today!
I am off to create and clean, lots to do this week, we have company arriving
and a busy week ahead...plus a fun train ride on Saturday...all good stuff.

Ok ok I know "hey hot stuff" but looking at this adorable
penguin totally makes me want to say that like 600 times! LOL
I just want to walk around with him saying "Hey hot stuff"...anyways...
CLEARLY I have been stamping again and playing with the new
I do believe I have fallen in love~
I also added a sneak peak stamp from the new set next month...
and I will just say you are going to love it A LATTE! haha
I used the Digi cut files and my fabu Silhouette Cameo to create the mittens
and the popped up igloos...I think I have developed an igloo fetish...just sayin'~
For the bottom snow I used white cardstock- smooch spritz (Ice Rink)
and created my own snowy ground...all fun stuff!

~Ornaments W/ My Creative Classroom~

Good morning my crafty friends,
I just wanted to share with you an ornament I created for one of my
classes at My Creative Classroom It was a complimentary
class for anyone who enrolled in November and we had such a great class!
My Creative Classroom is a fun place to learn great techniques.
AND they have Gift Certificates for your crafty friends!
Since I have been teaching there for a while now I thought it would
be cool to refresh y'all and let you know about the GC's.
Anyways....I am off to stamp and play today and bake for a Dirty Santa
party this weekend...fun stuff! I love the holidays! :)
